Maddie's POV
As I speed walked to school, I saw Josh up ahead. I needed to act cool, calm and collected. I ran up to him and tapped his shoulder, he looked around and smiled. "Hey, Josh..." I tried to act calm, "Ugh..." Josh rolled his eyes, dusted off his shoulder and walked ahead of me. Chloe must have told him. I ran to school, passing Josh, I rushed to my locker.
I opened it to find at least 30 notes in there. Everyone looked as the notes fell out my locker. Chloe was next to me but didn't say anything, I bent down to pick up the notes. But I stopped dead in my tracks, 'I love you -Josh' a note said. My heart skipped a beat. Chloe noticed me looking at the note, she flipped her hair and walked over to her circle of friends. I stuffed all the notes in my bag, I scribbled a note that was for Josh.
'I love you too -Maddie' I wrote in my neat cursive and slipped the note into Josh's locker. I ran to my Biology class just to stay out of the 8th-9th grade rampage once the bell rang.
