Maddie's POV

I looked at myself in the mirror one more time. My heart kept skipping a beat. My very first date with the one and only. Josh Hyland. I brushed my hair one final time, making sure that it was silky smooth. "Don't mess this date up, Madison" I muttered, I don't want my date thinking that I was a cow or anything. I brushed my dress a few times, a few dust fell off. After pacing around in circles, the door bell rang. I took a deep breathe and casually opened the door. "Hey Maddie" Josh smiled at me, I said hello back. He didn't tell me where we were going but I didn't complain. I like surprises!

"So Mackenzie smacked you with a baseball bat! Wow" Josh laughed whilst we walked under the candy floss clouds. "Tell me your most EMBARRASSING moment of your life" I pleaded, Josh hesitated for a split second "Well...when I was about five years old, I took ballet classes. And I was the only boy in the class" I tried to hold my laughter in but I couldn't help it.

Josh pulled a red velvet chair out from under the table. "Thank you" I said kindly, I could feel my palms sweating. He quickly went to sit down in his chair, he called for a waitress and took our orders. Being the healthy one, I chose a Greek salad and Josh chose at least eight crab claws. "I never thought a restaurant would have such comfy seats" I laughed whilst jumping up and down slightly on the chair, "My parents come here all the time on their anniversaries" Josh smiled whilst pretending that the crab claws were real. I squealed when it was right in front of my nose, other couples stared at us and whispered. My palms started sweating again on the table, the Greek salad was splendid. Josh laid his hand on top of my hand, I felt myself blushing incredibly.

We walked in silence. I didn't know what to do or what to say. I bet Josh was feeling nervous himself, I felt bad about not making conversation with him at all. He seems like a really sweet guy. "So wh----" Josh cut me off with a passionate kiss, I could feel myself wrapping my arms around his neck.
