"Mum where is minhyung? We are supposed to be celebrating our joint birthday today?"

"Darling I'm sorry to tell you but minhyung has moved away, somewhere far away"

Of course imogen's mum knew where minhyung was, but she didnt know how to break the news to her 16 year old daughter that wanted to spend time with her bestfriend on their semi-joint birthday

"But his parents are still home, why did they go without him?"

"Immy just let it go, minhyng clearly didn't want to spend time with us anymore, you noticed how distance he has been for the last how many months, I think this is for the best" said Ian, imogen's twin brother.

His words hurt her because she knew it was true. Minhyung had been extremely distance with them. He didn't want to go out often, he didn't call or text her as much and he always seemed too tired when hanging with them. But she loved him no matter what, that's why those words hurt her

"Oh imogen don't be so down, I'm sure you too will meet again one day, now come on why don't we all go out for you and Ian's birthday? Hm?" Said her mum

"Sure I guess"

As the trio made it out of their house, Imogen was shocked when she noticed a "for sale" sign on the front pouch of minhyung's house. It made everything feel so real for her that her bestfriend had left, without a reason or explanation to her
