the first thing imogen saw was a bright light...for about 3 seconds she assumed she was in heaven. But that was cut short when she heard the rowdy noise of people moving around, slowly moving her head to the side she realise where she was.....

The damn hospital

Sighing to herself, the girl closed her eyes once again in attempt to drift back into a deep sleep, but that obviously wasn't going to happen as she felt warm hands on hers

Opening her eyes and turning her head again, she was surprised to see Adele sat there will a smile on her face

"Hey baby" Adele said

"What are you doing here....weren't you in wales?" Imogen said with a hint of confusion in her voice

"I came back 2 weeks earlier because it was boring at home...but then when I got back. Isla told me what happened and I've been here with you ever since" Adele explained

"What even happened?" Imogen asked

Adele sighed as she looked down at Imogen's hands "you fainted in the bath tub because of how hot the water was, Isla and Ian couldn't get to you so they had to call security to pry the door open. But before they could even get to you...it had been over 45 minutes"

Imogen didn't say anything as she was lost in thought trying to remember exactly why she had decided to take such a hot shower which resulted in her being here

Oh

That's when it clicked in her

Sighing deeply, Imogen tried to lift her body up in the bed but the pain in her body was excruciating as she hissed out a little

"Baby don't move...you can't. You were burned pretty badly, your body is all red but the doctor say that it will heal up well by itself. He did prescribe you a cream to use to soothe the pain and Isla and Ian went to get it for you"

Just hearing their names alone brought shivers down Imogen's back. This was honestly the first time the girl had felt so wary about the people she loved most in the world and it scared her

"Uhm thank you for being here with me..." Imogen managed to say

"There's no worries baby. I'll always be here for you"

The tension between the pair was so fucking unbearable but there was nothing they could do about it

They mutually decided to head to the pharmacy together to grab Imogen's prescription but it did mean they were stuck in her car until they got there

Not wanting to keep the silence up for much longer, Isla pressed the music player on her car as it began to play some music. In the hope it can soothe the tension.....

Well it did quite the opposite

Not even realising what song was played on her shuffle playlist her heart skipped a beat when she heard the lyrics

Immediately hearing the group that was singing, Isla switched the music player off and continued looking ahead at the road

She could hear a quiet scoff from Ian but she didn't say anything about it, he had every right to be mad at her right now

The pair had made it to the boots finally, but they were informed that they were going to have to wait a little bit for Imogen's prescription to be ready.
