"So Immy...let's really talk. How do you feel about what Adele said?"

It was way pass midnight and the two girl had decided that they wanted to pull an all-nighter

"How I feel? I feel like shit. I understand where she was coming from in the beginning...I was a terrible friend for not contacting her more often and I kept apologising to her...but then she just kept going on and on about things that didn't even have to do with what she was originally saying...I was gonna let it go until she made the comment about what happened at the concert and you, but I just lost it...looking back now maybe I shouldn't have fought her..."

Isla scoffed as she grabbed onto her bestfriends hands "you fucking stood up to her and as you should..don't let her make you self doubt yourself. Honestly when I heard you fought her I was a little disappointed in both of you only because I didn't know the context...but when I heard what happened? God I was the proudest person ever. This isn't me condoning fighting by the way...but sometimes what needs to be done has to be done. So well done"

Imogen could always count of Isla to make her feel better about herself, she always knew the right words to say and how to say it.

"I appreciate you a lot Isla" Imogen said as she kissed her bestfriends cheek

The all nighter didn't last all night for a certain person who was now snoring her ass off in the bed

Imogen looked over at her bestfriend who was completely slumped and chuckled a little as she tucked her in a little more

Immediately after Imogen walked out of the bed and into the balcony of her apartment to observe the night sky

It was peaceful

It was calm

It was beautiful

Contrast to her current life

Imogen was the person that many people would want to be, she was a smart beautiful shy but confident individual

But that's what people saw, more like what the girl wanted people to see

She hated when people other than Ian and Isla saw her at her lowest, it was embarrassing and gut wrenching

Her life wasn't great, that she knew. But that wasn't what made her sad

It was the fact that she didn't really have control over the things that happened in her life

It sucked

Exhaling deeply, Imogen wasn't too surprised that a single tear escaped her eye. It was inevitable, the way her heart hurt with everything that she was going through

For some reason the only person that she could think of that brought her a sense of relief in the time was none other than her childhood bestfriend

But it was as if luck or fate was on her side

Hearing a ding from her phone, Imogen looked down to see who had texted her at such an observed time of the night
