A few days had passed and it was now time for Imogen and Isla to say their goodbyes to everyone before they made their way to the village to spend time with Imogen's grandparents
It was a bittersweet moment for everyone mainly because once the girls returned, they would only endup having a day and a half left together before they had to make their way back to the uk
With their bags all packed and the Uber on their way. The girls said their finally goodbyes to the group before making their way outside
"I can't wait to meet your grandparents Imogen...I hope they like me" Isla said
"Of course they will love you...I've spoken a lot about you when I speak to them and trust me I'm sure they are definitely more excited about seeing you than they are me"
Isla chuckled at Imogen's words "you're their granddaughter. Of course they will miss you more but thanks babes"

"Why am I so nervous right now?" Imogen complained as she dragged her suitcase towards the bungalow that belonged to her grandparents
"Maybe it's because you haven't seen them in so long girl...come on you've got this"
Imogen knew that she was over reacting a little, but I was just the initial excitement and mild fear after not seeing them after so many years
After what felt like forever, imogen knocked on the door as the pair patiently waited for one of the grandparents to answer the door
After about 30 seconds, the pair could faintly hear the scurrying sounds of footsteps.
Imogen giggled a little as she knew exactly was behind the door, so once the door had been opened, Imogen immediately threw her arms around her grandfather
"GRANDAD OH MY GOD!!" Imogen cried as she carefully embraced her old man tighter
"Oh my dear imogen...it is so good to see you again after so long...and who do we have here!?" Seo-jun asked as he let go off his granddaughter
Imogen chuckled a little at how awkward isla looked but decided to save the girl from anymore awkward tension
"Grandad this is my bestfriend...isla the one I was talking about
Isla stood their awkwardly as she waited for the man's approval of her unexpected arrival
"Welcome to Korea...Isla" Seo-Jun said in his broken English. Isla chuckled a little at how adorable he sounded but her heart felt considerable warm knowing that the old man had tried to communicate in a language that she grew up speaking
