It had been 3 days since the news of her suspension and imogen was coped up in her room, with the reality of time being completely disoriented to her

the girl had completely isolated herself from the whole world, and it felt somewhat peaceful to her

Both isla and Ian had come knocking on her door many times in the last few days but Imogen had ignored both of them every single time

She had switched her phone off as well so no messages or calls could disturb her in her time of isolation

The only thing that the girl could hand on heart say she had done in the time away from the world...was actually get her uni work done. Imogen was like that. No matter the stress or pain she was in, academic validation always came first to her, she couldnt afford to slack off, especially with the fact that her graduation was truly around the corner

It was now the fourth day of her locked up in her room, she thought the day would be like any other day. Wake up get work done then sleep

What she absolutely didn't expect for was a loud harsh bang on the door

Trying her best to ignore it, the sound got louder and more consistent. It was starting to bug her which left her with no choice but to tell whoever it was to stop

Opening the door she was not expecting to see Adele infront of her

"What are you doing here...?"

"I wanted to talk to you. Can I come in?"

"No the fuck you can't, and why were you banging on my door like that?"

Adele sighed as she folded her arms

"Can we just talk imogen?"

Imogen scoffed as she began to close her door but Adele had stopped that from happening by pressing her foot in between the door

"Just fucking hear me out imogen, why are you acting so damn hostile to me?"

"HOSTILE?! You got me fucking suspended from school? I think my reaction to all of this is quite valid"

"I wanted to apologize to you for it all"

Imogen only laughed at what the girl was saying

"What's so funny?" Adele said

"Don't you think it's a bit to late for apologizes? What's happened as happened and I don't want to have anything to do with you so you can take your apology and fuck right off"

And with that Imogen forcefully shut her door, causing adele's foot to momentarily get jammed

Walking back to her bedroom she heard the loud shouts and kicks from the girl on the other side of the door, but once again she didn't pay any mind to it

Once the girl had sat back down on her bed she began to think about everything that had happened up until this moment of time

Everything just seemed to suffocate her and there was absolutely nothing she could do to stop it

Taking her phone and switching it on for the first time in days she began to call the number of someone she hadn't spoken to in forever

"Hello darling"

"Hey mum..." Imogen voice was raspy, in the days that she was stuck in her apartment all alone, she had cried so much that she ended up having a cold, it had gone down now but you could still hear it in her voice

"Darling are you alright...you don't sound very well"

"I'm okay mum...I've missed hearing your voice"
