I never thought the crown could feel so
Heavy.
As I stare down at my folks, look into their eyes,
I can see their demise
Towards my future role.I never thought my gown could feel so tight;
The stitches on my heart make me fright
As I realize what I've become.
I never thought my role as a queen could feel so wrong.This
Is not where I belong.
I never thought the pride of being a leader lingers
After what I've become
To earn the titleAs the blood dries on my fingers;
Blood of my folks.
