TWENTY SIX

Taehyung had come home with the only intention of locking himself in his room and process everything he had discovered during the camping days, his head was in a mess and even worse he had the intention of telling someone about it.

He looked at his phone as he let out a sigh, he expected a call from his boyfriend but there was no sign of him, he heard the doorbell ring but no one would answer the door, a third time it rang and it didn't ring again.

He lay quietly in his bed letting out sighs and more sighs, he felt bored and stressed but he heard footsteps getting closer and closer to his room, he looked at the door waiting for one of his brothers however the one who walked through that door was Lee Minho.

"What are you doing here," Taehyung asked with a smile when he saw his best friend enter the room.

"My mom and brother were gone and I'm a little bored," Minho confessed.

"How's it going with the person you like," Taehyung asked "will you tell me who it is,"

"Nothing has happened, he doesn't want to see me,"

"Why is that?"

"I was a bad person," Minho encircled his best friend's neck in a hug.

"But you're a very nice person, even sweet when people meet you,"

"Don't be a liar," someone knocked on the door.

"Mom's out shopping, I'll have to go out," Jungkook said.

"Where will you go," Taehyung asked.

"I will go with Areum," Jungkook said smiling.

Minho confirmed that this was the same Jungkook that he noted a certain attraction next to the boy he likes, dense that it was an optical illusion.

"Are you sure you'll go with her," whispered Taehyung audible to him and his brother.

"What's wrong with you," Minho asked.

"Nothing," 

"Tae, I know you and I know something's wrong with you,"

"I think my brother is cheating Areum," said Taehyung "That's not right, I like her, it's unfair for Jungkook to do that to her and but even with his stupid son," spoke Taehyung leaving Minho almost shocked, wondering if it was Kim Seokjin of the same boy he was in love with.

"How do you know," asked Minho trying to confirm his suspicions.

"On the day of the camp I heard Jin tell his friend, about him being in love with my brother, the next day I wanted to follow my brother to see the sunrise and saw him holding hands with his girlfriend's son,"

Taehyung recalled the day he went to the bar, how he felt disgust towards Jin, seeing that adorable looking boy could commit such a heinous act as betraying his mother with her boyfriend.

"My brother wouldn't do that, maybe it was that boy who started seducing him, but it bothers me that that woman adores her son so much that she can't imagine what her beloved son does with her boyfriend What a disgusting man is her son," he stated when he finished speaking, you could hear in his voice how frustrated he was.

Minho could not say any words, nothing came out of his mouth.

"Do you think I should tell her what her son and his boyfriend are doing," Taehyung asked Minho.

"I think you shouldn't meddle Taehyung," Minho said "maybe Karma will punish them,"

He had seen Hoseok a couple of times during the day, now he was sitting on an empty sidewalk, he looked at the sunny sky with lots of clouds that looked like it would rain at any moment, unintentionally the event of the river with Jungkook came to his mind.

It had been days since what happened and he avoided running into him, Jungkook ran away every time he visited his mother, after refreshing himself with his mentality he decided that what happened was not right. He had to forget anyway, forget his silly scary feelings and the times he could feel his warm, sweet lips, all the times Jungkook passed his spit on him.

He felt a few small drops on his body and looked up at the sky, again encountering a few raindrops starting to fall, he grabbed his cell phone and ran to a place where he bought food near the college.

He sat down on an empty seat without noticing that next to him was Lee Minho doing some work on his computer, he sat down feeling curious about what he was doing on the computer, he noticed that they were science papers, he knew perfectly well those classes.

He looked beside him looking for the face hidden by the glasses and hood of his sweatshirt to offer his help.

"Hi Minho," he greeted almost in a whisper feeling somewhat uncomfortable, Minho didn't greet him and turned his gaze back to the screen frustrated to finish his pending work.

However the last conversation he had with his best friend came spontaneously to his mind, Minho felt annoyed and disgusted, even more so when in the distance he could see how another man who was involved in the love triangle made his appearance.

"Do you need help? I can help you," Jin said softly for he saw Minho very frustrated however the frustration was no longer about that, now the thought of the terrible betrayal Jin was making against his mother.

"Hello Jin," Jungkook greeted with a slight smile.

Jin thought twice before answering, calmed his nervousness and with a feigned smile greeted.

"Are we going for a drink," Jungkook asked Jin.

"I don't know," he hesitated "I have class in an hour," Jin said nervously.

"I need us to talk Jin," the tone Jungkook used was pleading and Minho rolled his eyes "we have to do it Jin, please,"

"Jungkook,"

"You guys disgust me," Minho complained closing his computer, grabbing it and walked out of there.

The two were surprised by Minho's comment, Jin raised his eyebrows almost wordlessly, Jungkook grabbed Jin's hand and pulled him to take him away.

"Jungkook I said it, I have classes,"

"Just for today Jin," Jungkook said, they arrived at the parking lot and he opened the door for Jin to get in.

Jin looked at Jungkook asking for an explanation but Jungkook didn't answer.

Jungkook started driving and Jin worriedly asked.

"Where are you taking me? Hey we are leaving the city," said Jin when he realized that Jungkook was taking the road that took them away from the city "I have to go back my mom will be worried about me,".

The car stopped at the side of the road, Jungkook looked at Jin who looked too scared.

"Give me just one week Jin I begged you just this one week,"

"One week for what?" asked Jin.

"Come with me, escape with me," said Jungkook taking Jin by the hands "Let's escape together for one week,"

"You're crazy," said Jin "I can't do it,".

Jin did not understand Jungkook's intentions to run away together, he was starting to feel nervous and anxious, he did not know what to do, he knew that if he agreed to go with him he was also accepting that he would be the third party in discord between his mother's and Jungkook's relationship.

As much as he liked Jungkook he couldn't give in to temptation before Jungkook and hurt his mother, he couldn't hurt her and he already felt too guilty for the previous interactions he had had with Jungkook.

"Trust me, Jin," Jungkook said as if he knew the debate Jin was having in his head.
