Areum looked out the window of her room with a nostalgic smile and the pain in her heart made tears run down her cheeks. She remembers her ex-boyfriend's words, Jungkook's tears as he begged her on his knees for forgiveness for his mistakes.

"I have made the biggest mistake of my life and I know that the least I have the right to get is your forgiveness and the love you have given me," Jungkook was saying.

"What are you talking about honey," she fretted and reached out to Jungkook to stroke his back and soothe his crying.

"There's something I have to tell you," Jungkook whispered.

"What is it,"

Jungkook was silent and sighed taking the courage to be able to speak everything he had been silent about, but he didn't even know where to start, why he knew that every word that came out of his mouth, would be a dagger straight to the woman's heart.

Many times he questioned why things, why if he said and assured that he loved that woman so much, imagining himself married and maybe having another child, now he felt exhausted and tired of the feelings he had in his heart for someone else.

He wondered why of all the people he could have fallen in love with it had to be Jin her son.

He tried so many times to ignore that and believed that they would just go away with time, but the feeling kept growing and growing and when he realized it he was crazy about Jin.

"It's been so long since we met Areum and I don't know what happened, what the fuck was it that made the direction of this change to the point that I feel awful, I don't want to play the victim but it really feels horrible, I feel like I hurt you by hiding every single one of my thoughts, by hiding that my feelings changed when they shouldn't have," Jungkook sighed and looked Areum in the eyes, eyes that were slowly fading.

"May I know who he is," she asked pretending calmness when inside she was torn.

"Jin," Jungkook said and the woman closed her eyes clenching her fists, she felt her heart was shattering "he didn't betray you, it was me with my feelings I fell in love with him, even though I tried to deny it, I tried a thousand times not to let my feelings for him grow,"

"Jin do you know," she asked and Jungkook nodded "Do you feel the same way," Jungkook again nodded "Why are you just telling me, " she asked as she came to think about how painful it must have been for her son to see them together when he already felt that way about Jungkook "I don't know what to tell you Jungkook," she said wiping her tears "this has to end, if we continue our relationship I know you no longer feel anything for me and if I force you not to leave me I know I will hurt my son and I will hurt you for forcing you to love me," she sighed.

"Let's break up," said Jungkook with a barely audible tone "just because our relationship is over doesn't mean I will become Jin's boyfriend, I know you guys need to assimilate things, you because I hurt you and him because he felt guilty for having feelings for me, that's why I will stay away from both of you, it's not healthy or fair for anyone for me to still be here,"

Areum stood silently wiping away her tears that fell on her cheeks and bearing the pain in her chest.

"I'm so sorry," Jungkook whispered.

"It's okay, let's break up," she said "before woman are Jin's mother, Jungkook if this involves emotional damage to my son, the only person I have I don't want to continue, I thank you for being honest with me," she faked a smile and caressed Jungkook's cheeks "now go that Jin will be coming and I don't want him to see you," she said.

"I want to ask you a favor," said Jungkook taking out a letter from his pocket "give it to Jin when I leave," he asked and she nodded.

Jungkook looked at the despondent face of the woman he swore he loved until recently, her eyes swollen and with dried tears, he regretted again that his heart had broken.
