THIRTY ONE

Jin and Hoseok were graduating from college, with all the important people accompanying them, they also attended Minho's graduation.

Areum had started to meet Dongmin, a man her age, a man who made her laugh and made her stop thinking about all the bad things that were happening and the worries of the hospital, of course she was not ready to start a relationship yet but meeting this man would be the first step.

Hoseok and Yoongi had given themselves a new opportunity in love, when Hoseok was ready he finally approached Yoongi to apologize for having talked to him and blamed him for the death of his mother, Yoongi understood that it was not his fault and that Hoseok himself was to blame for that, but they fell in love again.

Jin did not know that someone who in the past had been very important for him, was there present at his prom, present in that important moment of his life, Jin walking bumped into someone but he did not notice with whom, he did not turn to see the man with whom he had collided.

Jungkook smiled and left with his heart beating fast, he had managed to see Jin graduate and receive his certificates, he was happy to have seen Jin again after so many years and he was even happier to have had the slightest contact with Jin. Jungkook was content with that for now, thinking that if they were destined to be together, destiny would be responsible for finding them again and if Jin didn't see that he had collided with him he believed that neither he nor destiny were ready to meet again, he would be patient and wait.

"Please Jin," said Jaemin his friend "it will only be this time, you will tell him no and you will not see him again, I don't want to go and if I don't mom will kill me,"

"Jaemin but they wait for you, not for me," Jin said denying.

"I promise to make it up to you later, if Jeno finds out about a date my mother arranged he'll break up with me,"

"It will only be this one time Jaemin,"

"Someone is waiting for me, his name is Lee Hyunsoo," Jin said with a nervous smile.

"Of course, the young man called to say he would be late," and Jin prayed inwardly that the man wouldn't show up.

"Jaemin?" someone asked Jin was about to turn around to say that Jaemin wouldn't show up but the person in front of him froze his blood and his five senses "Jin," said Jungkook in a whisper.

They both didn't know what to say to each other, why they hadn't seen each other for a long time and didn't plan to meet that day.

"Jaemin won't come, he asked me to please come in his place, I retired," said Jin nervously taking his things and leaving the place with his heart racing.

"Wait," shouted Jungkook from behind, running after Jin who had started to run, so much was Jin's goal to escape that he stumbled and fell "Are you okay, did you hurt yourself," he helped Jin to get up.

"I'm fine, I have to go,"

"Jin talk to me, just for today and then if you want we won't do it again," Jungkook begged and for the first time Kim Seokjin had looked up to meet Jungkook's gaze nodding his head.

If only for seconds he appreciated the features of Jin's pretty face, they walked to a small place where they could talk quietly but they just looked at each other without saying a single word.

"How have you been," asked Jungkook.

"I've been fine, how about you," asked Jin.

"It hasn't been easy I must admit," said Jungkook but Jin still didn't feel ready.
