There she was, Sara, in the situation she brought herself in. She sat in that Taxi taking her to the new boarding school, it was thousands of miles away from her mother and her little sister. The sun shone through the window; it was so paradox. The situation was uncertain, and also so oppressed upon her, but still, the sun shone, warming her features, light up her hazel eyes with the sunshine.
Days prior, she thought that this would never happen to her and that she would stay with her family, with her friends. But life goes differently every time ain't it? Every time you think something is about to getting good, shit is happening. In the back seat she sat, looking out of the window, and thought about what had happened to get her into this situation. She definitely chose some wrong paths in the past, but were they so dramatic to be sent away?
The whole situation was so estranged to her, but still there was something so new, and exciting about it, she was in Chicago, and her fam was in Los Angeles. Clearly she would miss her sister, but maybe this was good, maybe this will bring her joy too, she can rebel as well, why should anyone care about that part, she will sure find people in this new school to rebel with her.
Pride beamed out of her, thinking back to her last expulsion only a few days before. Her principal had her two weeks in the school that was a new record for the speed of an expulsion, more pride boomed out of her.
Thinking back to the situation in the office of Mrs. Baker...
"Sara, your behavior in this school is simply not acceptable; you are using drugs and alcohol, coming drunk in class or high smelling of grass, and being rude to our teachers in this school. What do you have to say for yourself?"
"Hahaha, you really think I care, don't you? I don't need school anyway, who needs school if they can be a model or influencer or something else that DOESN'T require this shitty school here"
"That's enough, Sara; you are expelled from this school. I can't keep up with your behavior here." She sighed hard.
Sara laughed out loud and left the office of this principal. Pride booming out of her smile, out of her posture, this expulsion meant partying with Jaquline, Mona, and Olive. All three of them are also expelled, Olive started to work in the red light district, her boyfriend is a drug dealer. Sara wished for a boyfriend too, someone like Aaron, someone so ruthless and being in a gang.
Sara took her roller home and stole money out of her mother's purse. Again, like most of the days, she went out and got drunk again, smoking weed. Her friends did the same; they were all expelled as well, not giving a shit about their future.
It was five in the morning when Sara came home, completely high, and drunk. She vomited on the floor and went into her room. She wanted to slept in, but then her mother woke her up in an absolute furious manner.
"Sara, get up and clean your vomits away now, and afterward you and I will have a talk about your future. I have enough I have more than enough of it" she said to Sara through gritted teeth.
"Hahaha, why should I? You are the maid of the house, and second, my future is not part of your concern," Sara said, scoffing at her mother, touring around and pulling her duvet over her body.
Sara's mother grabbed her arm and hurled her up so that she was sitting in her bed. Totally taken aback by her mother strength she looked at her.
"You know what Sara, fine; I am not stupid that you were expelled again, yesterday afternoon I got a call of Mrs. Baker. Don't try to convince me that next time it'll be better because I know it won't. I thought at least this concern we could discuss at the table, but no, pack your bags; you are flying off to a boarding school tomorrow morning. Your behavior needs to change, and that drastically, the only chance I see for you is in this new boarding school."
