"Mr. Carter, may you come on the stage and say a few words to the Tops?" Mrs. Adams said

Ash sat there, tears rolling down his cheeks, red puffy eyes, and the world just passing by. Everything is going through his head. How? Why? Why him? He blames himself, he didn't fight enough for her. What did he do wrong? He buried his head in his hands. There is no more vulnerable position than that of a dominant, and Ash was in exactly that position.

He looked up with red, teary eyes. Carter walked past him with an awful smirk on his face. Ash looked up at him, defeated. He went on stage and closed his blazer.
"Dear Tops, it is an honor for me to take on this position as the top dom. It is an honor for me to be the dominant over Sara Lee. I will take her as a challenge and claim her as mine. From this point on, Sara belongs to me, and nobody will touch her except for me. I will punish her as I see fit, and I will reward her as I see fit. And Mr. Williams, this applies to you as well, she's my sub now, not yours anymore." Joshua smiled awfully, and Ash could see on his face that he had malicious joy.

He left the stage and walked back to his place.
"Dear Tops, you will be getting a letter this evening with the details of your sub. You may now leave this year's collar testing closed," Mrs. Adams said. The assembly hall emptied more and more. Ash still sat there, and tears still fell down his cheeks. He felt sick.

After a while, he took his luggage and walked out of the assembly hall. He walked back to his dorm and knocked.
Sara opened the door and had a sad expression on her face. She let him in and then completely broke down. She already knew Joshua was already here, and he told her.
"Why, Ash, why?" Sara brought out her trembling lip, she sobbed loudly, and tears rolled down her cheek.

Ash took her into his embrace and held her against his chest.
"Don't cry, baby; everything is fine; we'll find out a solution." Ash tried to soothe her.
"There is no solution, I am now Josh's sub, not yours, and you can't do a thing about it." She pressed out of his embrace.
"It's your fault, Ash; I couldn't do a thing for us, and you, you just fucked it up. I wanted to be with you; I loved you, but you didn't fight for us; you lost against somebody, and now I suffer under it," Sara screamed with tears in her eyes.

Ash didn't say a thing about it; he couldn't. It was his fault; he didn't fight enough for her, and that's the price.
Sara walked out of the door, slamming it in with full force, and walked out of the school into the park next to the school. She sat on a bench, and now she cried even harder. She finally found a person who truly made her happy, but he messed it up. Sara cried till there were no more tears left. It hurt deep inside of her, it was her first ever real love. She had a girlfriend and a boyfriend before him, but compared to him, they gave her nothing.

She gave him her virginity, and he messed it up. He claimed her as his, but now she doesn't belong to him. She will always be his, and she'll be thinking of him even if she's kneeling at the feet of Joshua or when Joshua is punishing her. She is Ash's, and she always will be Ash's.

Sara stormed out of the room, and Ash looked at the floor. He didn't move; he just stood there. Then, knock, it was Mrs. Adams.
"Mr. Williams, could you come into my office really quick? It is very important. "It's about the collar testing; something happened that shouldn't have happened."

Ash looked up and said, "Yes, Miss...sniff ... I'll come shortly." Ash said it with a trembling and defeated voice. He walked to the bathroom and cleared his eyes, looked into the mirror and said to himself: "You can do it Ash, do it for Sara, do it for her sake, you claimed her, she belongs to you, as I belong to her. She's mine."

He closed his blazer and left the room, trying to at least show a little bit of dominance. Then Ash walked along the typical way to Mrs. Adams office, from the classrooms' aisle to the library aisle, and there was the dark, big double door. He pressed the entry button, and it lit up green. He entered, and there he sat, Joshua Carter. Josh radiates self-confidence that almost breaks Ash. Ash stood there, perplexed and unable to move.
