A/N: Hi guys, your writer is here. I know it's not something you wanna see when the chapter pops up. Don't worry, I am not gonna put this story on hold, or gonna shock you in any other way, but I wanna explain some things about why there hasn't been coming a chapter in a long time. I gotta a explain that I am a competitive athlete in rowing, but at the moment I am sick with a cold. It might not seem so bad, but it is. I have had it for three weeks. And for the past week, I've been struggling to keep it together. The stress of school, deadlines, and grades is making me mentally tired right now. Stress can be a big factor in healing, and the stress is too much at the moment. I am not here to apologize or to receive pity. I am here to just tell you what the case is.

I am writing, and it helps to calm down, but not being able to train for almost three weeks is too much for me, and for my mental state. But I was able to let it out two days ago, and luckily, I had an appointment with my mental coach yesterday.
But now, enough explained, hop into the story and have fun reading it. I hope you like it as much as I do:)

Sara trotted out of the room. She felt content, but then she started to cry. Ash looked up from the paper and over to her. He looked concerned, and then stood up.

"What is it, angel?" Ash stood up and walked to Sara, who was still crying softly. She waddled to Ash, and she leaned into his embrace.

"I ask again, what is wrong?" You could clearly hear his concerns in his voice.
"I dunno, I suddenly felt sad, empty and lonely," Sara murmured.
"Oh," Ash said, looking down at her in concern. " I know what you have; it's called a sub drop," he enlightened her with his gentle voice.
"Oh, and what is that?" Sara looked up.
"Let's get you some ice cream and some cuddling on the couch, then I'll explain," Ash suggested.
"That sounds like an idea," Sara murmured, smiling slightly.

Sara laid on the couch, and Ash got some vegan Ben and Jerry's ice cream out of the freezer. He scoped it into a bowl and walked over to the couch. He handed her the ice cream and then let her cuddle against his chest. Sara sat on the legs of Ash, and she happily ate her ice cream, while laying her head against his chest.

She wasn't little, though such moments let her feel loved, cared about and very safe. She looked at her ice cream, and it was delicious. It helped her. It even got better when he started to caress her head.

"So, my beautiful girl, you want to know what a sub drop is?"
"I mean, it would be interesting to know, so please, can you explain it to me, sir?"
"Since you asked so nicely, I will explain it to you.
So in a scene, well, we're in a 24/7 Dom/sub relationship, so it's not technically a scene; it's more punishments and rewards for your behavior in our relationship.
When I punish or reward you, for example, for the incident this afternoon. I punished you for the incident, and by the way, you took both your punishments very well. Because you took them so well and were obedient, I wanted to reward you. I let you climax for your good behavior during the punishments." Ash looked down at her, she was still eating out of her bowl, and looking forward.

"In a punishment or reward, extremely many endorphins and also endogenous cannabinoids are set free, and this is so much that it's like a drunk state for your mind and your body. When those endorphins go back to their normal state, your body and mind feel empty because these hormones are gone. Sub drops can happen, and you will feel tired, sad, and lonely; they can even come with severe physical pain. I normally try to avoid them because those are very stressful and also hurtful for you. But it can always happen, but I try to communicate with you, do aftercare, give you treats and so on." Ash kissed her head.

"Endorphins are important, and you can feel them. Normally, that's why we do aftercare to make sure you don't suffer from a sub drop. But since you were so tired after your punishment, I have let you sleep. I hope that clears everything up a bit."
