Ahn Minji, with her heart pounding and nervousness coursing through her veins, made her way towards Jino Academy.

Her prestigious school was known for its outstanding arts and music programs, attracting talented individuals from all over the country.

As she walked through the academy gates, Minji's devoted fans were already there, eagerly awaiting her arrival. Their fangirling reached a crescendo as they caught sight of their campus idol, shouting her name and holding up banners adorned with her pictures.

But Minji, focused and determined, walked with a blank look on her face, her eyes fixed straight ahead and she's not the same as before who smiles and interact with her so called fans.

Amidst the chaos of adoring fans, a guy she had never seen before suddenly approached her.

"Is this the famous Minji? I might say you're quite a beauty." He wore a cocky grin and had an air of confidence that made Minji uneasy.

Without any warning, he reached out and gripped her arms, his touch sending shivers down her spine.

"Get your hands off me!" Startled and alarmed, Minji struggled to break free from his grip.

Her heart raced, and she desperately scanned the crowd for help. Just when she thought she might not escape, a familiar face emerged from the crowd, as if appearing out of thin air.

It was Sunghoon, what a nice surprise.  With a fierce determination in his eyes, he charged towards the unknown guy and forcefully pushed him away from Minji. "Get lost," Sunghoon growled, his voice laced with a protective edge.

Sunghoon's friends, Heeseung and Jay, stood nearby, witnessing the entire scene unfold before their eyes.

They were amazed by Sunghoon's heroic act, unable to tear their gaze away. The trio along with Jake had formed an unbreakable bond during their time at the academy, and they always looked out for one another.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Minji glanced at Sunghoon, her gratitude shining in her eyes.

"Thank you." she whispered, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips and nodded at him and she didn't stay there any longer, her determination still driving her forward.

She bowed in appreciation and silently walked away as if she never shared memories with him.

Sunghoon, Heeseung, and Jay watched her go, their admiration evident. Sunghoon couldn't help but feel a pang of curiosity. They had met briefly during the summer break.

As he caught a glimpse of her retreating figure, he felt a tug in his heart.

"Hey, Sunghoon," Heeseung nudged him playfully. "Looks like you've made quite an impression on Minji."

Sunghoon blushed, trying to brush off the comment casually. "Oh, it was nothing. Just helping a friend in need."

Jay smirked knowingly. "Sure, Sunghoon. We all saw the way you rushed in there. You're a hero in the making."

Sunghoon chuckled, feeling grateful for his friends' support but he did know that Minji already has a guy in mind and this was just the beginning of an extraordinary journey that would change Jake and Minji's lives forever.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over Jino Academy, the trio walked side by side, sharing stories and laughter to find Jake and told him the good news.

...

Minji stepped into the classroom, her presence causing a wave of astonishment among her friends. They stared at her, wide-eyed and speechless, unable to believe that she was standing before them, alive and well.

Minji's gaze swept over her friends, her expression emotionless as she chose to sit far away from them, creating a distance that mirrored the pain she had endured.

Yunjin, unable to contain her joy at seeing Minji again, couldn't resist the urge to rush over and embrace her tightly.

"My goodness, you're finally here! I missed you, my girl." Yunjin closed her eyes as she put her chin above Minji's head, embracing her like a motherly figure.

Minji, still guarded and distant, hesitated for a moment before returning the hug, finding solace in the warmth of her friend's embrace. It was a silent acknowledgment that despite the turmoil they had experienced, their bond remained unbroken.

As Minji glanced at the others, she could see the guilt etched on their faces. They knew they had played a part in her disappearance, and the weight of their actions was now evident.

Minji's eyes held a mix of pain and understanding, silently conveying that she had not forgotten what they had done.

Class ended, and Minji and Yunjin found themselves sitting at a small convenience store near their school. The ambiance was calm, offering them a safe space to talk and unravel the mysteries that had surrounded Minji's absence.

Yunjin couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. "Minji, where were you? What kind of island did you end up on?"

Minji took a deep breath, her eyes searching for the right words. "It was an island where everything seemed perfect at first," she began, her voice tinged with a mix of bitterness and sadness. "But as time passed, I realized it was a place filled with nothing but pain. The guy i grew to love and hated in the end, he lived there. You must know him."

Yunjin's eyes widened in surprise, a mix of shock and concern written across her face. She had never expected Minji's journey to be so tumultuous. "What happened on that island, Minji? Why did it change everything?"

Minji sighed, memories flooding back. "I discovered the true nature of the guy I thought I loved. He broke my trust. He easily make me believe his sweet words, and now look at me, I can't accept the fact that I was fooled by him."

Yunjin's gaze softened, a newfound understanding washing over her. She could see the pain and trauma etched on Minji's face, and she vowed to be there for her friend, offering support and a listening ear.

As days went by, Minji's demeanor began to change subtly. Whenever a guy approached her, she became cold and distant, demanding that they leave her alone.

The walls she had built around herself were formidable, shielding her heart from potential harm. Her friends noticed the change, perplexed and concerned by the transformation in their once vibrant and open-hearted companion.

Yunjin approached Minji cautiously, her voice laced with compassion. "Minji, I understand that you've been hurt, but not all guys are the same. There are good people out there, people who genuinely care about you."

Minji's eyes softened as she looked at Yunjin. "I know, Yunjin. But right now, I need time to heal and rebuild my trust. I can't afford to let my guard down so easily anymore."

Yunjin nodded, a silent vow forming in her heart. She would stand by Minji's side, offering unwavering support as her friend navigated through the aftermath of her harrowing experience. They would embark on a journey of healing together, slowly mending the pieces of Minji's shattered heart.
