George's first birthday

Today is a special day for the Crawley family, it's George's first birthday!
George is still asleep in his crib and Matthew and Mary plan on coming to be the first ones to tell him happy birthday.
They open the door quietly so they don't wake him
They wake over to his crib and gently kiss him to wake him.
George stirs around a little and rubbed his eyes.
"Happy birthday my darling boy" Mary said in the most caring voice
"Happy birthday my dear little chap, we love you so much."
Matthew said with all his love in his eyes.
George opened his eyes and smiled because he realized what today was!
He jumped up and kissed his Mama then his Papa, and gave then both a good morning hug.
Mary kiss his forehead and said "Are you ready to go eat some breakfast? Your grandparents are down there waiting with all your presents!"
George jumped for joy "yay! Let go!"
Matthew grinned, he has always loved how joyful his dear little boy is.
"Well, why don't we ring for the Nanny so you can get dressed to come eat" matthew said while he ruffled George's hair.
They rang for Nanny and waited until she came to leave.
Today is going to be an eventful day. They have planned all kinds of things for his special first birthday.
Finally, Nanny brought George down and they all enjoyed Mrs. Patmore's delicious breakfast.(as always)
George also got to open some of his presents and he seemed to love them all.
Later in the day Matthew and Mary were walking together as Mary carried their dearest little boy, and they wear walking near the stables and went to see Diamond. Well they had a little surprise for George, so they walked up to this one stable and in there was a pony. "George, this pony here, is yours now. You can name it anything you want!" Mary said, excited to see his face light up. She can't wait until the day he is old enough to learn how to ride.
"Ooo" George was fascinated with the pony so it looked like they were going to be great buds.
"What would you like to name it George?"
"Buddy" George said confident that this is the right name for his new friend.
"Well, Buddy it is then!" said Matthew with excitement in his voice.
"Why don't we head to the house and we can see if Mrs. Patmore has some ice cream for us." Mary said.
