It's Christmas time at Downton Abbey with the sweet Crawley family.
Everyone is decorating the Christmas tree, with red and green and all kinds of beautiful ornaments. George, Marigold, and Sybbie are playing around the tree with Cora watching and playing with them. "Matthew, can you hand me that ribbon?" Mary asks fixing something on the tree. "Of course, anything else?" Matthew adds with a hint of sarcasm, Mary looks back and rolls her eyes at him as he chuckles. Edith, Michael, and Marigold are putting on the ornaments and beautiful ribbon for the tree. Tom is in the Library with Robert talking about...well men stuff.
Once the tree was all decorated Carson rang the gong- time to dress in dinner clothes. Mary and Matthew walk up with George to his room and then make their way to their room. Matthew stops and let's Mary go in then comes in behind her, shuts the door, and turns to her immediately and kisses her. Mary is caught by surprise but then sinks into it and starts to kiss him back. Matthew pulls back but holds Mary close and they enjoy the moment they have alone together. "I love you so much, I hope you know that by now." Matthew declares. "If I didn't I wouldn't be living" Mary says as she giggles, "But I love you too. I will never get tired of hearing you say those simple three words to me." Mary says giving him a quick peck on the lips. "Well I guess we shouldn't keep Mosley and Anna waiting any longer" Matthew says letting Mary go. "Wait one second, don't go anywhere without one more kiss!" Mary says acting like she is astonished that he wouldn't think of it. "Of course, anything for my princess." Matthew says leaning in, then Mary pulls her head back "You mean your TWO princesses, or so I hope." She says glancing down at her stomach smirking when Matthew's eyes widen so big you would think his eyes were about to pop right out. Matthew starts to grin so wide Mary starts to well up. "I love you BOTH so much!" Matthew says so excited, happy and just overjoyed that they will be having their second child. "When are we telling the family?" Matthew asks "Well I was thinking tonight?" Mary answers "Okay. We will tell them together. I am so so so thankful for you, George, and now this new little addition to our tiny Crawley family. I told you I will love you until the last breath leaves my body, I promise I will love and cherish our family until that time. I love you." Matthew says as he kisses her before she can even say anything. They will be downstairs late for dinner but it is definitely for a great cause.
