Hilda~Adventure Buddies~ Part 1

The sun rose slowly over the trees,it's rays peeked into a small window located in a tree.The rays of light were like a wake up call for a young tiny person.That tiny person was named Y/n.

Shooting up from their bed,they quickly started changing their clothes excitedly,brushing their hair and tail fur.

They weren't just no ordinary tiny person,their kind had tails similar to that of a little lion and their ears were more pointed.

" Yyyy/n!Are you awake?Come down stairs and eat breakfast! " Y/n heard their mother call to them.

" I'm coming! " They yelled back opening their small window and looking outside of the tree to see white snow." FINALLY,mama,it snowed! " Y/n cheered putting on a knitted sweater and pants.

They hurried downstairs where their mother caught them off guard,she held her son/daughter and wrapped a knitted scarf around their neck to where it covered their mouth. Y/n pulled away in a hurry,sitting down and adjusting the scarf so that they could eat quickly.

" Why are you in such a hurry Sweet pea? " The mother asked.

" Me and Hilda are going adventuring!We found something really cool yesterday! "

Y/n's mother looked skeptical as she fed Y/ns baby sister.

" I don't know,you and that human have been going on quite a lot of adventures,yet you don't tell me about ANY of them.It's making me a bit suspicious," Y/n's mom states squinting her eyes at the nervous boy/girl.

She/he gulped down the last of their food.

" I promise,when I get home I'll tell you where we've gone! " Y/n started as a voice outside the tree was heard.

" Y/n!Are you coming?I might just leave without you! "

" Hilda!Mom I promise,pretty please let me go," They begged their mother with puppy eyes.

The mother finally gave in," Alright,alrght,but be back by noon this evening Mister/Missy or no more adventures for you for a while," She exclaimed.

" Okay!Yes!Bye love you," Y/n hurriedly said kissing their mom's cheek,hugging their baby sister,and then leaving the tree.

" I'm right here Hilda!Don't you dare leave me," Y/n shouted jumping off a branch and landing on Hilda's head.

" What took you so long? " Hilda asked as she began to run to where the two were planning to go.

" My mom is getting suspicious of where we're going,she says I've got to be back by this evening or no more adventures for us," Y/n explained as Hilda groaned.

" She sounds just like my mom,guess most parents are the same," Hilda commented.

" Yup!Do you remember when i first introduced you to my mom,she nearly flipped out!It took her a whole week to get used to you and your mom," Y/n chatted away as Hilda laughed.

" We're just a few paces away now,all this snow is making it hard to run,even with my boots," Hilda complained.

" At least you can run,I would sink with one step," She/he laughed causing Hilda to giggle at the thought.

" Hey where's Twig? " Y/n questioned just as the deerfox appeared from under the snow,quickly following them.

" Did you not see him? " Hilda asked.

" No not at all,he is white after all!Look!I see the cave up ahead! " Y/n pointed as Hilda started to slow down,stopping at the entrance to the cave.

" Alright,our objective is to find those crystals we saw a while back.It's possible that they could dim out,so keep your eyes open! " Hilda instructed as Y/n gave quick yes,the two headed inside.

Unknownst to both that there was a sudden storm coming.
