Lapis and Peridot ~ New Barn Buddy ~

Side notes:
You're a Moonstone(Gem on back)
Since there isn't much about moonstones in the show I made a few things up
I did a little research to correspond abilities for the reader,such as;

* Glowing in the dark
* Natural Navagation Skills
* Medium Water manipulation ( meaning it's not very strong,you can't lift whole oceans like lapis )
* Go invisible(but their gem shows)

" Is she going to reform? "

" It looks like a Moonstone to me,but why is its cut so....inaccurate? "

" Peridot! "

" I'm just saying,theyre's not going to reform big at all!Even less big than Amethyst "

The voices boomed all around the moonstone,they watched as the gem lay still on a soft pillow in the barn,having not yet reformed or made an attempt.

" You sure it's not just a regular earth gem? "

" Oh absolutely not,this one's too polished despite its condition! "

" Hey I think it's glowing "

The moonstone was indeed glowing,the light around it contorted and shifted until a small figure lay there with it's knees to their chest and arms wrapped around them for security.

They seemed to glow even after reforming,lighting up the dim part of the barn.They didn't seem to have a mouth,or at least that's what the others thought upon looking at the gem,but they were practically bending down to get a better look.

However,this startled the moonstone and causing them to go invisible.

" I think we scared them,look,I can still see their gem on their back!Hey little guy,it's okay,we didn't mean to scare you," Steven said to try and reassure the gem as they slowly became visable.

They were quite surprised when a part of its face opened,revealing the blue moonstone did indeed have a mouth,it was just really hard to see.

" Where- " The gem didn't get to finish before they started coughing.

Steven reached out to see if he could help,only for the moonstone to propell water at him in an alarmingly fast rate.It may have been small but it hurt with how fast it hit him.

" Ow!Okay,no touching,got it," He says rubbing his cheek.

The gem stood up slowly,noticing that there wasn't just two but three around them.

One was just very quiet.

" Okay,clearly we started off wrong!Hi,my names Steven.This is Peridot and that's Lapis,we found your gem just laying slightly above ground.We...actually thought you were a shiny rock at first," Steven introduced nervously.

" I'm...blue moonstone," The gem says seemingly puzzled by why they were much bigger than them and not there size.

" Yes,that's your gem isn't it?Why don't you give yourself a name? "

" As of right now that's not important,I need to find a water source," The moonstone said sprouting water wings (the form was similar to that of a beetles).

The tiny gem flew out onto the barn,the first thing they saw was the small pond/water source.

Diving down they landed near the end and dove inside.
