Atucha I Nuclear Power Plant, Argentina
A massive mobile earthquake was registered near the southern tip of South America moving northeast at a rate of approximately four miles per hour. Monarch scientists immediately assumed that a MUTO was involved due to how similar the case was to the MUTO that moved underground from the Philippines, to Janjira, Japan in 1999. Their suspicions were heightened even further when the plotted course of the tremor was apparently moving straight for Atucha I Nuclear Power Plant in northern Argentina.
As the assumed MUTO moved north, all precautions were taken. Every town in the path of the creature was evacuated and the power plant was shut down. Monarch again spoke with Mothra and asked for help from Godzilla if the MUTO proved dangerous. They agreed and both monsters moved onto the site of the power plant to await the new MUTO.
Just under twenty days later the MUTO arrived, and, as expected stopped directly under Atucha. Both Mothra and Godzilla attempted to contact the new comer but with no response. For days the monster sat, silent and unmoving underneath the reactor of the plant but made no move to attack. Godzilla left Atucha a week later, but Mothra stayed behind. She sat and waited at the plant, everyday speaking in her own language to the monster deep in the earth but everyday she got no response.
The Argentine government was growing restless, the nearby city of Buenos Aires needed the electricity that power plant provided but Monarch convinced them to keep the reactor offline for one more month.
One month passed, Mothra's communication attempts continued to fail, and the Atucha nuclear reactor was turned back on. Still nothing happened, Monarch agreed that the if there was a threat it was small enough that most personnel could be relocated, a small group of soldiers and scientists were kept on site to continue their vigil but the majority left. Mothra was told that she no longer had to stay and attempt to communicate with the MUTO but she declined the offer to leave and stayed behind, everyday continuing her attempts to contact the beast beneath the power plant.

Mothra is resting, she laid silently near the Atucha Nuclear Power Plant in northern Argentina for over a month and a half, trying to contact the MUTO that was waiting below, while at the same time, ready to attack if the thing became violent.
"Mothra." A deep, scratchy voice penetrated her slumber. A voice that she hadn't heard for millennia.
The giant moth stirred and opened her eyes, seated in front of her was another moth. Though this one was much fiercer in appearance, jagged edges and spines dominating its face and body.
"Battra?" Mothra says with a hint of surprise in her voice.
"Yes." The newcomer answers.
"Brother." Mothra's voice is more serious now, "Why have you returned?"
"Where did it come from?" The voice of Doctor Serizawa asks at Monarch's primary research facility, located on a fairly large island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
"We don't know sir." A man in a white labcoat rushes around a large room with dozens of computer screens all around, all around him and the Doctor there are dozens of people rushing around in a similar manner.
"When did it get there?" Serizawa asks, a hint of impatience in his voice.
"We don't know." The labcoat replies.
"What do you mean we don't know?!" The doctor shouts, then pausing briefly, "Sorry." He takes a deep breath. "Don't we have sensors all around the plant though? Aren't we monitoring that area 24/7?"
