Chapter 6 : The week off

After Akui had woken up in the hospital he got looked at again to see if he was back in peak condition. After saw he was he got released and went home to spend his week of there. On his way back home he saw Mirko again on her patrol so he decided to go and talk to her.

"Hey Mirko" He said while approaching her.

"Oh hey what are you doing here so late" she asked him.

"Oh, well I was in the hospital after our class got ambushed by a lot of villains eventually we even needed All might to defeat the last one." Akui said.

"Sounds rough, but you did beat the shit out of them right" she said with a smirk that looked sort of evil.

"Yeah of course, it was just that the last one was a creature called Nomu which was created with the sole purpose of defeating All might, that was why I got send to the hospital" Akui told her.

"At least you defeated most of them, but you should go home it's getting late and you're still injured"

"Yeah, thanks I'll go home then" Akui said before turning around and leaving for his home.

When he got home he again did his routine of working out and then eating. But instead of going to sleep he decided to watch some tv. He watched a show about a very dumb guy that could change his hair color by screaming, it was very weird but also very fun. After he finished with the episode he was watching he went to bed and slept for a very long time. He woke up the next day at eleven in the morning. And went to do his morning routine he started with a jog and then he went to breakfast. But instead of eating it at home he decided to eat at a restaurant.

When he arrived at the restaurant he sat down in the last table that was available at the time, it was a table for two people but he didn't really care. The waiters quickly brought him the menu and asked if he wanted something to drink. He answered them with a coffee and opened the menu. As he did this someone else walked in, he quickly glanced at the person to see Mirko. He looked around and realized no tables were left so he quickly called her name. She looked at him and he waved and pointed at the seat opposite of him signaling that if she wanted she could sit there. She nodded and walked up to him and sat down opposite of him.

"Thanks for letting me sit here, I really wanted to eat the carrot cakes here today" Mirko said.

"Oh no problem Mirko" He said with a small smirk as he realized she wanted to eat carrot cakes.

"I know you're smirking because of what I said, and if you don't stop now I'll kill you" she said in a soft but threatening voice. He immediately stopped smirking as he didn't have a death wish. 

"So what do you want to eat" Mirko asked acting like nothing happened.

"Well I was thinking of getting a simple eggs with toast and bacon" Akui answered.

"Hmm sounds good, but did you order drinks already" Mirko asked.

"Yeah I have, but you can ask for something to drink when he comes back to take our orders" 

"Yeah that's true" Mirko said.

"So Mirko what are planning to get for drinks I got a coffee"

"I'll get coffee to. And please stop with the Mirko just call me Rumi, you make it sound like I'm on patrol or something"

"Oh sorry Rumi"

They waited for the waiter to show up and ordered their food and Rumi also her coffee. Akui took a sip of his coffee while they waited on their food and Rumi's drink. Not much after Rumi's coffee came and she also started drinking it.

"So the USJ was a shit show huh" She said.

"Yeah it really was I almost died there and so did many other students" 

"Yeah sounds annoying but at least no one died"

"Yeah and now I have this week of although it is to prepare for the sports festival which will also be annoying" 

"Yeah, but it will be for the pro heroes to scout out students for their agencies"

"True, so will you be watching" 

"Yeah, but I probably won't pick out anyone for my agency unless someone does extremely well. Who knows I might even scout you"

"Yeah that would be convenient" Akui responded

"Yeah but are you confident you can win?" She asked.

"Yeah I can beat most of my class in tactics and strength and speed so it shouldn't be that hard and seeing as I don't know the rest of the classes except for the entrance exam it should be a surprise but I'll probably still win" He answered.

"Hmm confident, I like it. So if you I'll give you an offer to join my agency for the week, and you better not turn it down" She said in the same soft but threatening manner as before.

"Okay, I'll be looking forward to it then" Akui responded with a small smile on his face. Soon after their food came and they ate in a comfortable silence. Until that silence was broken by someone he really didn't want to see that week.

"Hey isn't that Akui" Kirishima said from a few feet back.

"Oh yeah it is, but isn't he with a girl" Kaminari said.

"Yeah he is, maybe it's his girlfriend~" Mina said with a voice that was very suspicious.

"Who cares, just let those idiots be" Bakugo said annoyed.

"Who the fuck did he just call and idiot" Rumi said in a very agitated voice.

Akui just sighed at this as he knew what was going to happen.

"Hey you little brat who the fuck did you just call an idiot huh!?" Rumi yelled at Bakugo in a very angry voice.

"You!" Bakugo retorted.

"YOU MOTHETRFUCKER I'LL THE SHIT OUT OF YOU" Rumi said very angry now.

"Wait isn't that the number five hero Mirko" Kirishima said.

"Yeah it is, Bakugo maybe you should stand down she'll beat you pretty easily" Kaminari said.

"Wait does that mean the number five hero or the number one female hero Mirko is Akui's girlfriend" Mina said in a shocked voice.

"She isn't my girlfriend she's just my neighbor" Akui said.

"Oh that makes sense" Mina said.

"Hey brat you still wanna fight HUH!?" Rumi said again.

"Yeah that's fine with me" Bakugo said while being agitated like normal.

"Yeah that's not a good idea, Rumi you should stop before you kill him. Because knowing you both you would kill him pretty easily" Akui said.

"Yeah you're right" Rumi said while sitting down again. 

After this they continued eating while Bakugo kept screaming at them to fight him he eventually even got kicked out of the restaurant for being to loud and annoying. After they finished eating they said their goodbyes and both walked a different way. Rumi went home while Akui went to the gym to train more for the sports festival. He was determent to win since an internship with Rumi could help him very much. And like that the week past very quickly.
