I'm really close to tears.

I wipe her tears away. "Freen... I know how much you loved him and I kno-"

"No Becky you don't know." She gets up. "I just really need to go."

I get up too.

"No Becky, don't follow me." She storms off, and I'm left here all alone.

Right when I thought I was getting somewhere with her... Cold and distant Freen makes a reappearance.

I went back inside the church, and sat down next to Yuki again.

"Is she okay?" Yuki whispers.

"Not at all." I was close to tears.

"Where is she?"

"I... I don't know."

After the funeral, my mother and I head back to my house. It was 4pm when the funeral ended, and I'm just so worried about Freen. After three hours pass, my worry intensifies. Before I know it, it's 10pm. My mother and I go driving around looking for her, but we have no luck. I must have called her phone a thousand times, but there was no answer.

When we get back to my house, I'm close to calling the cops. I know she's going through an unimaginable tough time, and just wants to be left alone, but I just don't want her doing anything stupid.

It's around 3:25am, when I hear a knock on my window. It's Freen, so I open it for her.

"You're so so so so kind." She giggles.

She tries to climb through the window, but is failing so I help her in.

"Why thank you prince charming." She giggles again.

"Are you drunk?" I ask her.

"Drunk you are!" She replies.

Yeah... She's drunk.

"Freen... Where have you been?"

"What does it look like Becky? I was out getting shit faced."

I sigh.

"Oh don't you even give me that disapproving look Becky. I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself." As she said that, she almost fell over.

"Obviously you can't... I've been worried sick." I help her sit down on the bed.

"Sorry mom! Oh wait... I don't have a mom! Or a dad! They both overdosed!"

"Freen..."

"Don't Freen me Becky. It's true. It's all my fault too."

"How is it your fault?" I ask.

"Can't you tell? Maybe... Maybe if I was home I could have saved him! And maybe if I was better he wouldn't have had to drink or get high!" Tears start to roll down her face. "All my stupid fault! I should just kill myself."

"Freen... Don't talk like that. It's not at all your fault, so don't blame yourself."

She stands up. "YES IT IS BECKY!" She smacks herself.

"Stop." I walk over to her and try to wrap my arms around her, but she pushes me away.

"You stop!"

"Freen can't you see I'm just trying to help?!"

"And don't you remember I don't need anyone's help!" She raises her voice.

The last thing I want is for my mother to come in, and see Freen wasted.

"Freen..."

"I TOLD YOU DON'T FREEN ME!" She yells.

"I'm sorry okay?"

"Whatever." She slips off her shoes before unzipping her dress and taking it off. She throws it on the floor. "Goodnight." She passes out on my bed.

I sigh and walk over to her. I wrap a blanket around her, and tuck her in. "Goodnight my angel... I love you..." I whisper before bending down to kiss her.

I really do love her... I just miss my old Freen. She's spiraling downwards, and I'm just afraid I'm never going to get the girl I fell in love with back.

I decide to just sleep on the floor. She doesn't want to share a bed with me anyways. I take a blanket and a pillow and attempt to fall asleep.
