after that whole lunch thing I was already so done with the day so I just skipped the last few classes and went to my favourite nearby café

I always felt so calm and collected here, this was my get away spot that noone knew about

it was a small, cosy and light café, the staff were so friendly, after discovering it, I became a regular really fast

I sip on my usual, a mocha latte, as I get started with some homework I had from today

"jaeya would you like anything else, maybe a dessert or something, I see you've had a stressful day" one of the servers, named minsoo, that I've quickly become close to, asks me, and I think about it, one slice of a cake won't do much harm right?

"thank you min, I'll take a strawberry cheesecake slice then" I give minsoo a smile and she smiles back at me while going back and getting the dessert

just as I finished up my math homework she comes back with the cake "I hope you enjoy it" she says before quickly hurrying off to greet some new customers that just came in

putting my workbooks back into my bag, I see a little note next to the slice
"jae I don't know what's going on, but I hope this piece of cake makes you feel better, I know you love strawberries so I snuck some extra for you :)))"

that was the most fucking adorable thing ever. I love minsoo so much. while eating this amazing slice, I make a mental note that one day I need to get her a gift for all the kindest she's shown

as I finish up all my homework I check my phone to see what time it is
2:15 pm
that means schools basically over for everyone else, maybe I'll text gunwook and see if he wants to come over to my house

as I open the message app, I see a few texts from hanbin
