Gap & Mail Ch-1

Before you start reading ahead, I would like your attention to this small matter here. You will find the name Singh mentioned in this chapter who is a student of YY college. I don't know yet if this is the same Singh we came across in Ken & Fang's story or not cause I haven't read the book previously. So let's find it out together in the later chapters.

College XX is a college of various engineers who study different streams of engineering and is the centre of these dashing and hot-blooded young men. This college only accepted men and not women.

"Hey, this guy came out here to smoke without telling us," the voice of a young man in the mechanical engineering department said who raised a turban along with walking and sitting next to his friend.

"Damn Gap, your house is rich and you still come and ask for my cigarettes again," his friend complained but agreed to give it to him.

"What the fuck rich? It's just enough to eat," Gap said back and took the cigarette that his friend had lit.

"These bastards came to secretly smoke and didn't invite me. Bitch, bring it to me here," Dave, another friend from the group walked in and sat as well.

"Damn Dave, speak softly. The teacher will come and see you soon," Gap complained to his friend and handed him the cigarette. Now these three friends usually came to secretly sit and smoke in the back of the department's shed which is relatively quiet and no one walks by. Simply put, it was their hiding place.

"Gap, are you going to see these bastards racing tonight?" Dave asked remembering.

"I'll go, I was the one to decorate the car for him. I have to go look at my work," Gap said as he let out a puff of smoke.

"I don't know if he will come too, " said Buk.

"Come on. I'm having itchy feet. My mouth is freaking good when I come with a crowd of good-mouthed people. But when I found myself around shitty-mouthed people, I become silent because my feet starts to feel itchy," Gap talked about his enemy.

"Huh, this bastard is actually a scammer. Show me your moves," Dave said jokingly.

"Oh, but did you send in Ajarn Phanop's work yet?" Dave asked as he remembered.

"Can you just not talk about the teacher's assignment now? I've not even started doing anything yet. Damn it," Gap grumbled angrily.

"Me too," said another.

"In the evening, let's gather together. So we can go to the field together," Gap made an appointment with his friends again before sitting and smoking his cigarette. Then they walked together back to school.

"Gap is back. Come down and help Mom and Dad too," Gap's mother said as her youngest son entered the house. Gap's father is of Thai - Chinese descent. His mother is half-Thai and half- foreigner but there is only GAP who got her genes and looks a little Western like her mother. Gap's House sells noodles, bird's nests, and shark fins. The shop is a 3-storey building, with the store opening on the first floor, the second floor being his parents' residence, and the third floor belonging to him and his brother. Gap has two older brothers, the eldest named Gram, who is already married and opened a branch in Chinatown, and the second named Koh, studying in the second year of the University.

"Where is Koh? Mom" Gap asked for the second brother.

"He said that there is a basketball practice," his mother replied.

"I think he's more into trouble than helping with work," Gap complained not taking it seriously. before going up to change his clothes in the room then came down to help his parents work in the shop.
