"......." Buk stood silently looking at Singh, his heart beating faster than a rocket before sighing lightly to calm his nerves down.

“Fuck it, I don't want to know about these things. You hurry up and cook, I'm hungry," he cut off the script before putting the washed strawberries in a box and storing it in the fridge to eat after dinner.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Buk asked in a normal voice.

"It's okay, you can go sit and watch TV," replied Singh. Buk nodded his head in acceptance before walking out of the kitchen to turn on the TV in the living room. But he couldn't concentrate on the TV at all. He only thought about what Singh had asked him just a moment earlier. In fact, Buk had an answer for Singh. But he didn't know how to answer, because it still hasn't changed anything. He sat for a while and then fell asleep while contemplating everything in his mind.

Finished cooking, Singh walked out to call Buk to eat but found him asleep on the sofa. He stood and looked at the sleeping figure for some time before sighing lightly.

// Why do you have to pretend that you don't care? // Singh mumbled to himself softly before reaching out to shake Buk's arm to wake him up.

“Dammit, I have finished cooking, will you eat it?” Singh called Buk in a normal voice.

"Um, let me wash my face for a second," Buk replied in a low voice before sitting up while rubbing his hand on his face to dispel the drowsiness.

“Let's go into the kitchen,” Singh invited and Buk nodded before getting up to walk towards the bathroom. As for Singh, he went into the kitchen to set the table.

"What did you cook for dinner?" Buk asked before he had to pause at the sight of the dining table. It's a side dish that he likes to eat. Buk immediately turned to look at Singh who raised his eyebrows while sitting in his chair. When going to buy ingredients in the market, Singh did not say what he was going to cook.  But during their conversation, Buk remembered that Singh would smoothly ask him about the food that he likes to eat. At that time, Buk didn't think anything of it so he told him what he liked.  When he saw his favourite dishes laid on the table in front of him that's when he realised that Singh intended to deceive him for sure. And that made Buk feel quite a bit shaken in his heart.

"Why are you standing still? Come, have a sit, or will you stand and eat?" Singh pretended to ask back. Feeling annoyed, Buk scowls at Singh before sitting down on the chair opposite him.

"It's strange, the food that you cooked. Damn, there's only one thing that I don't like to eat," Buk said back causing Singh to freeze instantly.

“Really?” Singh asked back seriously and Buk nodded. Singh furrowed his brows together as if he were contemplating something

“But I remember when we went to buy shrimp. You said that you liked Phi Big to use shrimp in this recipe. And you can eat a lot of rice too," Singh recounted what they had talked about while buying the ingredients. A slight smile spread across Buk's lips.

"Ao, do you remember?" Buk asked back, causing Singh to fall silent for a bit and stare at him before Buk started laughing. Singh felt that he was being bullied for sure. He narrowed his eyes a little.

“In conclusion, you don't like the food on the table at all, right? I'll give it to the dogs to eat," Singh said as he gestured to pick up the plate of rice but Buk rushed to grab Singh's hand first.

"You fool! People haven't eaten yet. How can you give it to the dogs?” Buk hurriedly protested immediately.

“You don't like to eat so you don't have to. I can go and give it to the dogs," Singh said in a calm voice. Buk secretly held back a little laugh because the expression on Singh's face seemed to be touchy and dissatisfied.
