Zach POV
I don't know when I left the hospital. Somewhere between me yelling for help when her monitor went crazy and her mum returning, they had sent me home. I trudged home, tears silently cascading down my face. By the time I arrived, my mum was solemnly stood waiting by the door.
"Mum, what's wrong?" I croak, observing her folded arms and pity filled eyes.
"I just got a call from the hospital-" my heart stopped.
"Lily's gone. She's dead."
I collapsed, tears pouring from my eyes as I screamed. The world stopped.
I had murdered my girlfriend.
