Damon wasn't sure how much time had passed.

Sure, he was certain he was thrown into the Salvatore cellar hours ago, but whether it was day or night, he couldn't tell you.

The cellar was cold and dreary, which matched the way he currently felt.

Left alone in a cell with small doses of blood provided by his brother every few hours.

Stefan had been giving him the bare minimum of what it took not to desiccate.

He was currently laid down on his stomach, arms supporting his head, waiting for something to happen.

The silence had been almost deafening.

Just when Damon had resigned himself to the entire situation, he finally heard footsteps coming down to the cellar.

He slowly brought his head up, and seconds later he saw Stefan's face appear between the bars on the door.

Stefan looked down at Damon with disdain in his eyes.

He was still angry at his brother for sleeping with Elena.

After a moment of silence, Damon decided to break the ice.

"You coming to snap my neck again? Because I woke up feeling completely un-murderous, and I'm pretty sure that it's safe to set me free." he spoke.

Stefan said nothing, continuing to look at his brother.

He couldn't help but feel a little satisfaction seeing Damon like this.

He then reached into his pocket, pulling out a vial of blood.

Stefan reached his hand through the bars and tossed the vial to his brother.

The vial landed between the older vampire's arms, which Damon dropped his head to look at.

Damon slowly reached for it.

"Oh man, really? You practically bled me dry. At least spring for a bag or something. I'm thirsty." he complained.

Stefan again said nothing, before bringing a water bottle into his brother's view, shaking it.

He then placed it in between the bars, letting it sit there.

"Not exactly what I had in mind." Damon groaned, pushing himself up off the ground.

He stumbled over to grab the water, when Klaus suddenly appeared in front of the door, replacing Stefan.

Damon finally noticed the hybrid when he grabbed the water.

Klaus took a step forward, smirking. "Hello, mate."

"What the hell are you doing here?" Damon demanded.

"Babysitting." he responded.

"Oh." Damon hummed.

"Give him a vial of blood every couple of hours, so he doesn't desiccate. If he gets too much strength back, or if he just annoys you, bleed him out again." Stefan handed Klaus another vial.

"Silent treatment, huh? Is that your best shot?" Damon remarked.

The raven-haired vampire then turned towards Klaus.

"He's still pissed at me for sleeping with Elena." he explained.

"You sure about that? 'Cause I saw him trying to sneak out of Rebekah's bed this morning, which would suggest to me that he's moved on." Klaus smirked.

Stefan sighed in annoyance, not pleased that Klaus ratted him out.

Elena wasn't the only one he didn't want hearing about his actions the night before.
