Due to how the attack was cowardly and without honor Savage refused to allow the Hero to enjoy a unearned victory his pride woulden't allow it. As a result he first tried absorbing the energy which worked until he could absorb no more at which case he employed his full defensive abillities and healing abillity this reduced the full force of the attack and allowed him to survive. Savage then begins to evolve due to Survivor which was beyond it's highest evoultion he was obtaining all of that Dimensional energy for himself as he survived the attack this evoultion returned to his more natural looking state however this version of Savage was the strongest ever and could freely travel to any Dimension/ franchise he desired at will as well as fully utilze this almighty power that almost ended him. He opens his eyes and glares at the Hero once more.
