The Maze Runner Trilogy by James Dashner
This is a fast-paced trilogy that I finished in 3 days because I literally couldn't stop myself from flipping the pages! There were so many moments I loved and others I cried over. It builds suspense and action, what humans are capable of, and how friendships can create a family in such a state of the world. I loved it and the Sci-Fy is included in the books. The director for the movie made some changes but it's still a good watch. Although I still prefer the books. It's an awesome, heartfelt rollercoaster and I'm sure you'd love it. But that depends on you. However, it never hurts to try something new.
