Chapter I: A new adventure

Velvet's POV:

A few years have pasted. And now, I am living my life in my home village again. I also live with the man that I love. The man who cared about me. The man who reminded me what means to be alive, Koda Reaven. He and I made a promise to protect each other from anything no matter what it is.

But even though we have gotten our lives back, Koda still felt bothered by the way things are. He still feels like what he did was not enough for me. I know what he is going through, he helped me overcome that. Now, I have to help him overcome his doubts again. One day, I had an idea that he and I could go somewhere away from home.

Koda: wha... you wanna go somewhere Velvet?

Velvet: Just for a view days. We could use a change of scenery.

Koda: I don't need a change of scenery. We're fine here. We're safe in our home.

I walked up to him alittle frustrated, getting his attention.

Velvet: Koda I get it! I know you're bothered. ...I know you are bothered if what you did was the right thing or not. (Flustered)

Koda: ...!?

Koda's eyes widened. He was reminded about it. I could tell just by looking at him. As he reached out his hands, I gently embraced him with my hands on his chest. He gently wrapped his arms around me.

Velvet: ...You and I promised we would be there for each other, protect each other. It hurts me when I see you look like your not yourself. So please...

Koda: ...Your right Velvet. And I'm sorry I worried you...

As we break from our hug, I kissed him on the lips.

Koda: We should be living our lives the way we should. I just want to keep you safe. But, we can't just stay at home.

Velvet: Sometimes it's good to experience new things, Right?

Koda: Yeah. And I think we know a certain ship and crew that can help us with that.

Velvet: You mean?

Koda: Come on. What's one more adventure?

Koda smiled at me with confidence again and I hugged him so tight from happiness. 

Next Morning: Port Taliesin

Once we finished packing our stuff, we headed to Port Taliesin to meet up with a certain crew of Aifread's Pirates. While they were docking, Koda and I were making sure we ready.

Koda: You got everything?

Velvet: Yup. Are weapons, a few supplies, We'll be fine.

Koda: Good. Let's make the best of this.

We both nod our heads and smile. As the Van Eltia docked, we met with a fellow acquaintance. Benwick. He waved to us. 

Koda: We appricate this alot Benwick. Thanks.

Benwick: Hey I only did what I felt like doing! Who need's thanks for that?
