Chapter IV: Champions of Ul'dah

Ul'dah/Private room at the Inn:

Koda, Vex, Velvet & Mimi returned to Ul'dah. A lot had happened from dealing with thieves to facing a mysterious masked individual called an "Ascian". Vex and Mimi were very surprised after what they had witnessed from Koda. His Ability to absorb malevolence or darkness and use it in a destructive form of arte. Koda and Velvet thought he lost that power after he gave his life to save Velvet, three years ago.

Velvet's POV:

Vex and Mimi just listened. We told them everything. To Koda being reincarnating from another world, his ability, us meeting, and what we had to do to save our world and be ourselves. We even told them that we had to kill Artorius, my brother in law because he was going to robe humanity of their free will.

They just both just sat and listened. Vex was leaning forward while looking down. Mimi just looked at us, surprised. Koda and I looked at each other. We were concerned if they didn't believe us.

Vex: .......That's..... some story.......

Mimi: ............(Ear's slowly flop down).............

Velvet: We understand if you find it hard to believe...

Koda: ...It's... I imagine it's hard for you both to believe.

Vex then closed his eyes and Mimi looked concerned at him and then looked down.

Koda: Three years later, Our world was going back to the way it was. But,  the threat of Malevolence went unchanged. We solved the problem, demons and malakhim could no longer be seen by human eyes.

Velvet: ... We could have done more, but the people needed to decided how to go forward. We thought we needed to have a change of scenery. So, We went on our ship and sailed to the far continent. But on the open sea, fog started to appear and covered us.

Koda: Then we both saw a vision... It was a masked, hooded person, like that guy we fought. But... that crest he had was a different shape. Then, we heard a voice and all it said was "Hear... Feel... Think...". Just the same as when we heard Hydaelyn in that vision.

Vex: (Ears twitch up) ...!!?

Velvet: After we woke up, we were docked at port in Eorzea. That's how we came to this world. 

There was a bit of silence after we spoke.

Koda: Well... That's our story...

Vex: ....Just when I thought I've seen everything...

Mimi: ....It all sounds so hard to believe...

Velvet: I know it seems farfetched, but it's true.

Vex: Don't worry, I believe you.
