Limsa Lominsa/Velvet's POV:
Koda, Vex, Mimi, Y'stohla, and I arrived in Limsa Lominsa. We discussed our situation with the Admiral and the High Commander.
Merlwyb: Ah! Word has spread of your accomplishments my friends. On behalf of Limsa Lominsa, I thank you for heeding our call.
Koda: We appreciate the welcome Admiral Merlwyb.
Vex: Now, what can you tell us about the beast tribes and the trouble they've stured up?
Merlwyb: Aye, Long have the Sahagin and the kobolds plagued our people -- nor is this the first time we have had to address a primal threat. In the past when Titan rose to threaten the peace, it was to the Company of Heroes we turned too.
Velvet: Where are they now?
Merlwyb: They have long since disbanded. That is why we must look to other brave souls blessed with strength to face this foe. That is why we turn to you four as well as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, confident in the belief that you are Limsa's best hope.
Y'shtola: I hope you are right. Yet the situation is far from simple. The kobolds are not prone to unprovoked aggression. Did not the thalassocracy make a pact with the beast-men that each would keep to their own lands, and that no blood would be shed?
Everyone: ...
Y'shtola: ...And was it not the Lominsans who violated this agreement, dissatisfied with their lot? Shall we then condemn the beast-men for defending their homes? Even a pirate must one day reap what she has sown.
R'ashaht Rhiki: I would advise you to choose your words with greater care, Lady Y'shtola!
Koda: Enough! What's done is done. We didn't come here to point blame on anyone Y'shtola, we came to help.
Merlwyb: Na, the wrong is mine. Freely do I claim it. Yet it makes little difference. Remorse will not shield us from Titan's wrath. ...Or would you have us fall upon our swords?
Y'shtola: My apologies, Admiral. The safety and security of Limsa Lominsa's citizenry are, of course, of paramount concern.
Merlwyb: (Head nod) Already, we have observed disruptions in the flow of aether further inland. The effects will be felt here in the city ere long. Can I count on you four to help this?
Koda: Of course Admiral.
Velvet: Same here.
Mimi: We will help however we can.
Vex: We'll take that Titan down!
Merlwyb: You have my thanks. I await good tidings.
Admiral Merlwyb then headed back to her duties.
Y'shtola: This being the case, we best prepare for conflict. Before we decided to meet Titan on the batlefield, we should learn about our foes and rest for awhile.
Vex: I can contact some fellow mercenaries I know to see if they have any info.
Koda: Thanks Vex.
