Andrea's POV
I was standing outside talking to one of the producers when all of a sudden Rhea came running around the corner. She ran up to me and started yelling, "Andrea! Andrea! Oh my god Andrea!"
"Jesus, what happened?"
She was freaking out and basically crying. "Oh my god! Oh my god!"
"Jesus christ! You don't even have the food! I'm only gonna let this slide if you bumped into Jack Huges or something," I said as a joke. Little did I know that actually wasn't. Rhea started laughing as she was still freaking out. She handed me her phone with a random contact on it.
"Look! Look! He even gave me his number!"
I was so confused. Did Jack Hughes actually give her his number?
"What?"
"Yes! I saw Jack Hughes! I-I bumped into him and he gave me his number!"
I didn't believe it at all. At this point, she actually had full tears running down her cheeks, but I still wasn't getting myself to believe her. I mean, afterall, we are actresses, so this would've been an easy job for her.
"There's no way," I started laughing. "I don't believe you."
"You have to! I'll show you later! He told me he was going to text me!"
"I doubt it. It's Jack Hughes. He's probably busy doing other things. He'll probably forget anyway."
"Forget? Andrea, you don't remember the fact that we're literally famous ourselves. What do you think would happen if you ran into Trevor Zegras?"
"I don't know, we'd both probably freak out. But that doesn't matter 'cause that probably won't ever happen anyway."
The producers and crew members saw us and started laughing.
"Ugh, this isn't funny. I didn't even get any food," I say.
Later that night, just Rhea and I went out to eat. We both ate practically everything on the menu. She kept checking her phone, but still no text from Jack. We got back to our apartment and we sat by the counter and started talking about our script and our film schedule. After a while, probably at 11:00, Rhea checked her phone and saw she got a text message.
"Yes!" She almost jumped out of her seat. "Look! You said I was lying!"
I look at her phone to see a message from a random number. I finally started to believe her. All the message read was, 'hey'. She responded with hi and immediately got a response.
