WE WERE ALL HAVING DINNER AND KAI SPOKE UP.

—Kai: "I have many questions about [Y/n]... how is she so athletic? How is she so resistant to hardships like she's faced them her entire life? Who is she??"

—Cole: "She's a 'Demon Hunter', was it?"

I shake my head.

—Me: "Demon Slayer."

—Jay: "Wo-hoah! That sounds cool!"

—Kai: "So you slay... demons...?"

He raise a brow.

—Me: "In my world... a man named MUZAN KIBUTSUJI..."

I frown and my fist clenched.

—Me: "I mean—a demon. He converts humans into human-eating demons using his blood"

—Zane: "So humans become demons?"

He asks in shock. In response, I nod.

—Me: "Transformed humans lose their human memories and become demons who serve him..."

—Me: "I many cases... they end up eating their own families without remembering them."

They all were shocked, and slightly disgusted.

—Kai: "That is... awful."

—Me: "Though I was not able to deal with that man in my lifetime... I trust there will come a generation who will. Since my brother, YORIICHI TSUGIKUNI, has created a technique for the slayers to use"

—Wu: "And what is this... technique?"

—Me: "Sun breathing."

—Jay: "I'm sorry but that sounds awfully confusing."

—Me: "The Sun Breathing is a sword technique that helps the wielder to fight with the blazes of the sun along their strikes. There are around 13 different forms of attacks."

—Cole: "Woah..."

—Jay: "Oh my God! Can you show us??"

He asks with starry eyes. I hesitated but noticed everyone looking at me with hope.

I sigh and nod

—Me: "Let's take this in the training grounds"

[Location: Training grounds]

I position myself in front of a dummy. All the ninjas along with sensei Wu and Nya were on the side, looking attentively.

—Me: "HINOKAMI KAGURA: CLEAR BLUE SKY."

I dash forwards and make a 360 degree slash to the dummy, a trace of flames flowing out of my sword as I did so.

—Jay: "W-WOAHH! THAT WAS SO COOL!"

—Cole: "HOLLY MOLLY"

—Kai: "H-HEY I THOUGHT I COULD ONLY DO FIRE"

—Zane: "Wow..."

They all surround me with words of praise, surprise and questions. I sweat-dropped.

—Master Wu: "Now now boys... let the poor woman breathe."

Sensei approached from behind. Nya looked like she would burst with how much she wanted to say to me.

—Master Wu: "I knew you had potential in you, [Y/n]... I would like to propose you something"

They all payed full attention.

—Wu: "I want you to join the Ninja as a protector of Ninjago."

—Me: "I don't have an interest in becoming a Ninja."

—Wu: "You don't have to be one to protect the helpless."

I thought for a second and looked back up.

—Me: "I WILL. AFTER AL... PROTECTING THOSE IN NEED HAS ALWAYS BEEN A LIFE GOAL OF MINE."
