THE NINJA AND I WERE SPYING ON THE CAMP FROM A DISTANCE.

—Jay: "Look, this must be Garmadon's camp."

—Kai: "No, you think? I thought it was a takeout restaurant!" [says sarcastically.] "It looks like he's building something..."

—Jay: "Building what?"

—Cole: "Quiet, you bozos. We still need to find what the medallion matches up to."

—"Bo... what?"

—Zane: "Let me see." [looks through the medallion.] "Hmm, nothing matches." [sees something.] "Wait."

—Jay: [gasps.] "You found the Temple of Light?" [grabs the medallion.]

—Zane: "No, but look!" [points to his Falcon, laying in a wooden table.]

—Kai: "Your Falcon... I thought it got shot down and was lost for good."

—Zane: "Not if I can retrieve it and get the pieces back to my father." [stands up.]

—Cole: "Wait, Zane! You're veering from the plan. We're supposed to be finding the Temple of Light and staying out of sight."

Zane: "If I were any of you, I'd do the same. I have to get my friend back." [jumps off and leaves us.]

Kai: "The more of us that goes the more chance we'll get caught. We just have to stay here and hope he doesn't get seen."

—"I agree." I nod

—Cole: "Aww, I wanna fight."

[...]

—Jay: [Looking through the medallion] "I spy, uh...another tree!"

—"I don't understand this game."

—Cole: "Jay, how did you ever become a ninja? Seriously."

—Kai: "Argh, will Zane just get his bird already and get out of there?"

—Jay: [Aligns the medallion with three lights] "Guys, look!"

He gives the medallion to me. I look through it.

—"It, indeed, seems to match up." I give it to Kai.

—Kai: "That must be the Temple of Light."

—Cole: "Ahah! Jay, I take back everything I said. You are a fine ninja. Not finer than me, but a fine—"

We hear a Warrior talking and then sees Zane, who finally got the Falcon, ending up being cornered.

—Jay: "Oh..."

—Zane: "I sense I may have gotten myself into a predicament, my broken friend..."

—Garmadon: "A ninja, here? Seize him."

—Cole: "That's it, I'm fighting."

—Kai: [stops him.] "We can't, they're indestructible. If we go in there, they'll know we're here too."

Cole jumps to the next rock below, nevertheless.

—Cole: "Yeah, and if we don't, we'll regret it for the rest of our lives. Come on, it's Zane! [Y/N], you agr—"

They notice I was long since gone, already on my way to help Zane.

—Cole: "Of course she's ahead... did I expect anything less?"

They run over to join me. They run over the soldiers. Cole looks towards Zane who was surprised.

—Cole: "What are you waiting for, a red carpet?"

—Garmadon: "They're getting away! Nooo! Do something!" [elbows the general Kozu.]

Kozu tells the Army to follow them.

—Kai: "Remember when Sensei asked to stay out of sight?"

—Cole: "Yeah, that was good advice."

They try to climb over the fence by jumping on each other's backs but the Army throws spears at them. I could easily jump up without help but I wouldn't leave them behind.

—Jay: "Why didn't we listen to him!?"

—"You habitually don't."

—Zane: "Why don't we ever listen to him?"

—Kai: "Look! The gate! The way out."

He points at a closing gate. We run to the bridge but the plank breaks under Kai, almost making him fall.

—Cole: "Hurry up. We're halfway there."

However, the Army is closing in on them from both sides.

—Garmadon: [Grabbing popcorn from a Stone Scouts] "Excellent." [laughs] "This is too good."

—Kai: "We've been in situations like this a hundred times. Quick, who's got an idea?"

—Jay: "Uh, we jump into that hole."

He points below them, a pit of Dark Matter.

—Kai: "Next idea."

—Cole: "I say we fight."

—"You always do."

—Kai: "With what? We don't have powers." [sighs.] "What about you, Zane? What do your computers say?"

—Zane: "I got us into this mess. I know how to get us out."

The bridge breaks from the weight, but before it does, I already jump off.

—Zane: "Grab a plank! Ninja, go!"

[They do so and use Spinjitzu. They use the planks to sled above the trees.]

—Garmadon: "Get them!"

—Jay: "We're falling!"

—Zane: "Use your hood as a parachute!"

—Jay: "Whoo-hoo!"

[...]

—Jay: "Phew! We did it... Wait—what about [Y/N]!?"

They realize they forgot I couldn't use Spinjitzu and look at each other dreadfully.

—"What about me?"

Kai and Jay yelp and jump away, startled.

—Zane: "[Y/N]! You're safe!"

—Cole: "But how...?"

—"I jumped." I shrug.

—Kai: "But if you could do that all along... why didn't you?"

I raise a brow.

—"I couldn't simply leave you without being sure you guys were able to as well." I reply obviously.

They felt their hearts melt at the nobility and sweetness of those words.
