Guangzhou was sitting on a chair in a meeting room watching the other managers bicker about the construction and he was absolutely bored. Guangzhou just tuned out to their conversation and looked at the window to see the magnificent view of the skyscraper company building.
After 10 minutes straight of them bickering at each other Guangzhou had enough as he was getting more and more irritated by them and decided to dismiss the meeting for now and giving them the drafts for the construction as he had already drafted it from yesterday but only finished the actual draft now. Guangzhou sighed when he left the meeting room and his secretary Zhou Lin is following him now.
.................................................................. Guangzhou was now in his office facing the computer and doing paperwork while calling a number in his phone.
"Hello?"
The other person on the line said and a man's voice could be heard
"Hi,"
Guangzhou replied casually while signing the documents in his office but a faint soft smile could be seen. Guangzhou's heartbeat seemed to have increased and she felt butterflies in her stomach on finnally hearing his voice after all of those years without him felt like eternity.
"Who is this exactly?"
The man asked as he was abit tense when hearing his voice he felt he's heart tightening but brushed it off.
A small chuckle deep chuckle escaped Guangzhou's lips as the man on the other line furrows his brows.
"I'm no one you should be worrying about as I'm pretty much on your side Mr Yang."
Guangzhou said as a smile was formed in his lips. My Vincent is still the same as last time, The man on the other hand clenched his hands together.
"And what do you mean by that exactly?"
"it's nothing don't worry too much about it. I meant what i said, and besides i called you for a reason"
"What reason could that be?"
The other man in the line asked as his heart raced abit but he still kept his calm and rational side, And Guangzhou on the other hand was covering he's mouth and doing his best to not be obvious.
"Something important....."
Guangzhou paused what he was saying when he heard a nock on the door. He than just placed the phone he was holding down "Come in linda"
Linda? The man who was talking to Guangzhou earlier felt an unknown emotion in his heart but brushes it off nonetheless. The man listened carefully to the conversation of Guangzhou and the manager.
"Boss there had been some pest found in country H and they seem to have been targeting the young master."
Linda was standing their seemingly unfazed but inside she was panicking as she had never seen him this much murderous. "They're what now?" The cold aura cold be felt and the narrowing eyes of Guangzhou glanced outside the view. "Tch. Those elders can't really stay put can they." Guangzhou darkly chuckled as his eyes dimmed of their light just moments ago
The man's thoughts was filled with questions. Linda has been Guangzhou's eye and ears since met her at the county of elford. She was standing there with cold sweat in her forehead observing on what she should do, "Since they asked for it, Call Vivian and make sure to get rid of them." Guangzhou said and linda new better than to overstep her boundaries. She bowed slightly and looked down "May blessings and glory be with the dukedom and the protector of the empire." Linda said in another language as he could sense someone was listening to their conversation.
And the fact that the person who was listening is still safely alive means he is someone important to his grace and might not know anything at all,
With that she stood straight and than Guangzhou turned towards her again, "Find out what's been happening in the empire... Make sure that her and his highness are safe, if ever needed contact the creator of everything and he'll be the one to assist you for the time being." "Yes of course your grace." With that linda left and closed the door. Guangzhou turned around and went back into the call.
"Sorry about the wait as i needed to take care of some personal matters in a short notice. "
Guangzhou let out a frustrated sign and ran his hands through his hair trying to make his self more calm and control his mana. The frustrated sigh did not escaped the man's ears and he felt a inexplicably slight pain in he's heart,
"Anyways continuing to the matter at hand earlier, The reason i called is to inform you of being careful. I know you're not gonna be trusting a random stranger who suddenly knew your number" Guangzhou let out a slightly deep and aluring small chuckle at the end of his sentence and for some reason the man felt his heart racing and his blood rushing up in his face when he had heard Guangzhou's mesmerizing laugh.
"What do you mean 'Be careful' in the future?"
Guangzhou could imagine the stoic and angered face of the man and forced down a laugh with a caugh and that didn't go unnoticed by the man as he was somewhat amused by Guangzhou. "I meant what i mean, and the reason why i said that is because in soon time something called a meteorite punishment will happen. As per how i know it is because i have my sources just like what you overheard earlier, that was one of my eyes and ears, Linda York my trust worthy surbonate."
"Meteorite punishment? Do you really think i belive in those?"
"Of course not but you'll soon see the outer world if ever you succeed..."
There was a slight pause in what Guangzhou was saying for a few moments as if thinking on what he should say next before continuing
"I can't tell you the exact details as that would already be going against the creatorand so i can only say this much in vaugeness. May the destiny align us again.... Yangguang"
The man's eyes widened but before he could ask anymore the line ended and he was left with a confused train of thoughts. How did he know that nickname?? What does he mean by meteoritepunishment? Who really is he?? Who in the world is he calling a creator?! Wait he said that he had a surbonate named Linda York maybe i can try to find her to know some answers. ----------------------------------------------------- Hi guys it's me again and i know i said that I'll be posting on June12 year2023 Monday but i decided to post the 3chapters i finished long ago now as a special for the pride month plus my little sisters birthday which was yesterday.
