Max leads me to his car, that is parked between the other thousands of dollars. I don't know what impulsive thought let me hug or talk with him but I did. His Father was a fucking asshole. Especially because Max couldn't do anything against his DNF. I think it's not acceptable to shout at him and give him verbal abuse because of a failure through his car. I know those situations. I know what races through his head in that time, which is why I wanted and still want to make him feel better. I want him to be happy, what he deserves after his childhood. I heard some things from my brother and Lew, facts and presumptions about Jos, that made me think a lot. It shouldn't be my subject but it feels right to be by Max side. Thanks to Checo as well for intervening their 'conversation'.

"Max, where are you going?!" A female voice shouts behind us, his PR manager. "I need to get something out of my car. Be there in a minute!" He shouts back while getting faster in his steps. I have to do the double amount of steps to keep up with him. "Or not..." he whispers in Dutch while turning his head to look if she is still waiting for him.

"Looks like she trusts me to much." He grins as he opens the car door for me. I climb into the Audi SUV. Nice car, not as good as the ones from Lewis but still nice. He jumps in after nearly running around the car. "You scared of her or something?" I joke while he starts the engine. "I'm pretty much fearless but I don't mess around with women that have a plan!" I start laughing. He has a good humour. I mean I love his dry and insulting humour but he can be funny without being offensive.

We drive through the streets of Melbourne in the direction of mine and the Mercedes teams hotel. We have an entire hotel for us. Ok, more like Mercedes, me and the Ferrari team. I think the hotel only survives because of that one time in the year where two entire Formula One Teams book their Hotel out. "What are we gonna do now? You spoke of something nice." Max asks curious while pulling into the street of our destination. I want to distract you from your shitty father and this disaster of race today, is what I want to say. But don't do.

I want him to get carefree for one evening. Sure, he pulled this physically hurtful move on me in Bahrain but I can understand it when that, what happened today, also happened there. I would hide after a verbal abuse but Max is more the type of impulsive, not thought through attacks on others. So I forgive him. I mean he just grabbed me, he didn't hit me or else. I hit him, which is why I should ask for forgiveness.

"You will see! When was the last time you ate something outside your diet plan?" His head snaps in my direction, he nearly raises his eyebrows to his hairline. I chuckle while pointing over to the hotel. I jump out of the car and run around it, beating Max in opening the door with that. I open the car door for him with a deep bow. He laughs hard as he gets out, "You are crazy." I chuckle while Max gives his car keys to the smiling young man from the park service. "On Hamilton. Room L1." I say to the young man before he jumps in the car. Now Max steals Lew's parking lot. I would like to be here when my godfather comes back and someone tells him that 'his' car is already parked in the garage. I would love to see his face.

I open the door to mine and Lewis's penthouse loft with my key card. Then I hold open the door, again with a deep bow. Max rolls his eyes playfully before going through the door, "Really, Y/N? Stop that! I should do that, not you!" I laugh. "Ladies first, you know?!" I answer slightly challenging while walking past him, down the three steps into the living room area. Max doesn't follow me, he just stands at the top step staring through the room. It looks like he never saw something like that before. Did he never slept in a penthouse loft? Shouldn't a World Champion stay in a penthouse loft?!

"You good?" I ask while looking questioningly at him, then returning to search for the room service card. I know Lewis left it on the desk somewhere. On the way up here Max tried to discuss that he needs something healthy but without him wanting or not we will eat us through the menu, letting the healthy stuff aside. "That is a big room!" Max exclaims while taking the steps down into the middle of our living room, slowly.
