I paused for a few seconds ensuring I'm not hallucinating. There's a shape of a person (wearing... a rag?) on top of the building. He's five floors up and it's raining hard. I have two choices: should I get involved or not?
How would I wake up tomorrow if I knew that this person jumped off? Yet if I do stop him, what should I do?
This rain is getting louder. I doubt he can hear or see me wave below. He may become agitated. How about calling the cops? What would I do while they get here? I risked everything on my choice: I instinctively went inside the run down department store and head upstairs. I used to hang out in its arcades about 7 years ago. And as expected, the door to the rooftop was left unlocked. I slowly opened the door, and I saw the figure there.
