Scene 19 - When the Sharks Come to Play
The pink mermaid efforts to swim away from him.
The cerulean merman reconsiders himself that he almost kissed her.
He rushed out to her with fright.
Lucien: Lucia!
The princess swam as quickly as she could.
The rose gold mermaid was emotional that she forgot to swim like a mer-person.
Lucia was falling down to the sand again.
The cerulean merman swims swiftly to her.
He catches her in his arms.
Lucien landed on the sandy ground by his back.
The princess tries to push herself out of his arms.
Although his grip was strong.
The cerulean merman was afraid for her.
Lucien: Lucia, I'm terribly sorry. I should have ask first.
The pink mermaid was sobbing.
His left hand brushed her hair off of her face.
The cerulean merman shushes her.
Lucien: Lucia, I really am. I didn't mean to scare you.
The princess ultimately faced him.
The rose gold mermaid was sad yet settled down.
The cerulean merman stroked her head a lot.
Lucien: I kinda appreciate you for slapping me. Which I think you're strong. But Lucia, don't swim away from me. My mother and I wanted to help you.
The princess was unhappy.
Princess Lucia: You and your mother would help me if you let me see my family again.
The cerulean merman shook his head with anxiety.
Lucien: No, Lucia. It's too dangerous to go out in the dark ocean. I'm taking you back to the house of seashells. Where you'll be safer from Nero.
Princess Lucia: Nero, sea demon, I don't care. My parents don't know such thing.
The pink mermaid lays on his bare chest.
Princess Lucia: I can't stay with you and your mother, Lucien. They're missing me so much. They might be worried sick a lot.
The cerulean merman comforted her.
He was bothered.
Lucien: You must, Lucia. If your mother and father haven't been caught by Nero, they will try to find you. They will come to you. I know what it feels to be lost in the sea.
The princess was melancholy.
The rose gold mermaid can see his point.
Princess Lucia: Okay, Lucien. I may be a mermaid with a heart of kindness. Although, I am playing hard to get. I'll stay here with you and your mother a little longer.
The cerulean merman was relieved.
He hugged her tightly.
Lucien: Getting slapped by you is understandable. Come on, sweetfish. Let's hurry back to my home.
The pink mermaid hugs him back.
At least they knew each other that everything will be all right.
Just before they are heading back to the house of seashells, the princess gasped in alert.
