We walk inside, kai's hand holding mine "It's just so shocking.." kai said as we sat down at a booth "finding out that your father, someone you idolized your whole life turns out to be—...there's no other word for it..evil.." he grips my hand harder as a girl with red hair was sitting infront of us
"it makes you question everything you know and are" he sighed

"Which is why I came to you" kai's voice snapped me out of my thinking "because you went through the same thing and I-" kai was cut off by seeing his sister walk in "NYA! over here!" He flagged her down and she ran over "I did it! I figured out the identity of samurai X! It's skylar!" Nya said proudly before the girl infront of us laughed "I am? Oh. I had no idea. Does that mean I get that cool armor?" She questioned.
I guess her name was skylar
"Uh- it has to be you! Everything fits! The skills, the different fighting styles! The voices?!" Nya said tugging at her hair and I giggled a bit causing everyone to look at me "voices hm?" I coo teasing her and Nya groans "I don't suppose she just got here seconds before I did?" Nya asked me and kai. We shook our heads and Nya dropped her head in defeat "then I still don't know who samurai X is! I don't believe it!" She whined
"We can solve that later. Nya I have news for you and it's not good.." kai trailed off and he squeezed my hand a bit so I rub my thumb across his hand to soothe him and he relaxes a bit. "You better lit down" kai said while skylar left and Nya sat on the other side.
"I went back To the blacksmith shop. What krux told me is true.. our parents where indeed traitors" kai said but Nya seemed to get upset at the accusation "no. They couldn't have been!" She said "they where! And still are." Kai yells and tensed up "Nya our parents..their alive.." "but..that's impossible!" Nya said as kai slid her an old helmet
"A rusty old helmet, so what?" She asked and kai showed her newer one "so this is new! Our dad is still making them!" Kai looked down "yes..they are alive" I admit "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner..I couldn't" I said and Nya gasped "our dad is still alive!" "And working for the hands of time! But here's the worst part...what does that mean for us? Are we destined to turn evil?" kai asked and I got offended pulling my hand away.
"Oh shit I'm sorry y/n..I didn't mean it that way.." kai apologized and I simply sat there. Skylar came back with noodles "of course not! Our parents leave behind their legacies not their destiny's. We choose Who we become" she said sitting down "noodles? Nice and hot" she offered smiling "they always cheer me up" she slid one to me knowing I was upset at the comment and I smile at her taking the offer.
"no thanks I lost my appetite" I head kai say pushing the food away "kai you can't let this news get you down. We find our own paths" she smiled "skylar's right. Look at her! She could have inherited her father Chen's evil empire and rule the word! But instead dedicated her life to spending her day bent over a hot stove to provide low-cost, quality noodles to the people of ninjago city!" Nya said and I cringed at the backhanded comment "huh gee when you put it like that.." skylar said with a frown and took nya's noodles "let me get some of that"
Just then I got a call from Lloyd and picked up "oh, it's Lloyd..Lloyd? Hello? What...you found it? ...okay we are on our way" I said hanging up "they found the location and will send it to us. Lets go" I said as we got up "let roll" kai said "hey if you need any he-" skylar started "to go bags? No thanks" Nya smiled and ran out "uh..yeah um we will give you a call sky" I said smiling and she smiled back. Kai pulled me out of the restaurant and to his vehicle "Nya, something just occurred to me" kai said helping me onto the bike and I wrap my arms around his waist "what" she asked "if the guys found krux and acronix.." "then they found our father!" Nya said finishing his sentence
