Arian "Kook Prince" Jin. Arian is a known flirt, though he only really does so to avoid his crush on his best friend, Sarah Cameron. Which he's still in denial of, mind you.
He's been granted his home on Figure Eight due to his father's successful business, which he's expected to take over once he's old enough. He works hard to keep his appearance up in order to please his father, a polite, charming look to those who peer in from outside.
When he's thrust into the world of the Pogues, he's confused by his affection towards a certain blond (not Sarah. Seriously, what's with him and blonds?) who hates his guts. There also seems that there's a bit more to him, underneath the guise of perfection.

SARAH CAMERON — played by Madelyn Cline.
Sarah "Kook Princess" Cameron. It's funny how even her nickname goes hand in hand with Arian's. She's been best friends with him since he became her neighbor when they were 10 years old. Oblivious to his festering crush on her, she drags him into a whole other life when she becomes involved with John B (much to Arian's confused dismay).
Recently, Arian has been looking at her in a way that has her reeling. He dances with her with such a gentle hand on her back that she thinks she must be dreaming. But they're just friends. Best friends.
So why does she pretend it's him instead of John B?

JJ MAYBANK — played by Rudy Pankow.
JJ Maybank is not fond of Kooks, especially not the ones nicknamed "Prince & Princess". So when John B drags Sarah Cameron into what was supposed to be their thing, he's reasonably upset. It somehow gets worse for him when Kook Prince, Arian Jin, is in the "wrong place at the wrong time" and gets involved as well. He's annoying and he flirts too much. And he makes JJ go red too much.
Suddenly, JJ goes from hatred to mild annoyance, and the slightest bit of confusion about things he's been certain about his entire life. He likes girls.
But they're not Arian.
Besides. Arian likes Sarah anyways. JJ can tell. They all can.
