Ranpo was playing in a garden near the neighborhood, then he saw someone running , it was a boy maybe younger than him or his age, a white hair with a black strand, a part of his hair was longer than the other, he was wearing blue clothes, he looked terrified and scared of something, ranpo was curious so he called him
Ranpo: oi! The boy with white hair running
Then the boy stopped in his track
A?????I: huh me?
He pointed to himself
Ranpo: yes you ! Why are you running terrified
A?????I: .........
He didn't respond
Ranpo: say what's your name?
A?????I: n-nakajima atsushi desu
Ranpo: say atsu, why are you scared?
atsushi:....... Someone was following me.....

He titled his head to the side

Atsushi: then see you tomorrow!
He waved his hand while running
Ranpo : I hope to see you again atsu
He mumbled the last part but atsushi didn't hear it
It had been like that everyday but not everyone can get a happy ending
Till one day atsushi came scared like something bad was gonna happen, he runned to ranpo's deriction
Atsushi: ranpo we might not see each other again so pls keep this necklace until the day we meet again
Ranpo : huh? What are you talked about atsu?
Then a man with brown hair came, ranpo wasn't able to see his expression since his face was dark, he took atsushi's hands by force and started walking away, ranpo saw tears falling of atsushi's eyes
Atsushi: goodbye ranpo! Promise me you will keep it no matter what! * smile*
End of flashback
Ranpo: if only I did know that he was never going to come back
He started tearing up
Poe: hush, don't worry your not alone in this I'm with you
Ranpo: thank you Poe, I love you
Poe: yeah I love you too
