With Kija leading the way, several days were spent walking.
And finally, they arrived.
They watched the town over a ledge in the outskirts, admiring the nice view of Awa's ocean.
"Wow! It's a port town!" Yona looked at the sight in amazement. "Hak, is that the ocean?! I've never seen it before. It's beautiful!"
Yoon, Kija, and Shin-ah all seemed just as charmed as the princess. None of them had ever been to the sea.
Hisa had to disagree on its beauty. The view made her nauseous.
This wasn't her first time in a port town. And she learned the hard way that she could not handle going near a boat.
The ocean was not beautiful.
Unluckily, the green dragon was a pirate. Which meant Yona would probably board that ship if she wanted to recruit him. Hisa was dreading the inevitable of following the princess.
"Kija, is he here?" Yona looked over to the white dragon.
"Well..." He kept staring at the port town, looking extremely pale. "I sense his presence, but it's like he's all over the place."
"Tracking him is making me dizzy..." Kija started swaying, about to fall on the ground if Hisa didn't hold him up.
It was good she moved closer as soon as she noticed.
Yoon looked more fascinated than concerned over Kija's condition. "I guess the dragon's powers have their limit. After a certain point, they lose a lot of strength."
He looked just about ready to conduct experiments on them, causing both the dragon warriors to shiver.
"They have a few other weaknesses too." Hisa pulled out the water-skin in her bag and offered it to Kija. He took a few sips of the water before returning it.
"Can't imagine a lot set-backs for being that strong."
She stiffened.
A lot of set-backs to the dragon's power came to mind. Hisa lowered her eyes, not trusting herself to keep a calm expression.
She was not hiding her discomfort very well. Hisa knew it when she saw everyone quickly look away once she looked up.
As though he wasn't watching her too, Yoon tapped his chin as he eyed the port town. "Well, I'd like to look for the green dragon, but we're all tired from the journey. This would be a good time to stock up on food and provisions."
At Yoon's statement, Yona got even more excited than before, along with Kija and Shin-ah. "Okay! Let's head to town!"
"You're not going!" He yelled, glaring at the very suspicious-looking trio. "We can't take you guys down there! Especially not the one in the mask!"
Shin-ah squatted down, suddenly gloomy from being singled out. Kija went to pat his back in comfort. Hisa laughed at the sight.
"Then I'll go." Thunder volunteered to get the supplies. "I remember how to get around the place. Kinda."
"Just be careful." Yoon warned the thunder beast. "Someone might recognize you, so don't make any trouble."
"You guys should hide too." He tossed his glaive to Hisa. "This'll stand out, so I'll leave it here."
Hisa caught it, but it sure was heavier than she originally thought. She planned to examine it closer once he was gone.
Maybe Hisa should mention the green haired man so he could keep an eye out.
