a sigh left y/n's lips as she stood at the front door, behind her mother and beside ollie.

she was dragged here as she had no actual plans except for her and ollie to stay away from her mom.

but look where they were now. they shouldn't have gone back to the house earlier.

y/n and ollie decided to go back to their house for a bit, just to pick up a few things and bring them to ricky's house. they went in, grabbing a big duffel bag from the storage closet, and started filling it with entertainment things, like board games and video games, as well as other shared necessities.

"olls, can you grab the switches and the charging port? I'm going upstairs to get the other game controllers." y/n called out as she was already standing on the stairs.

"yup!" ollie yelled back, going over to the glass cabinet and taking the bunch of switches that they had, along with their charging ports.

y/n quickly came back down, game controllers and remotes in hand. the gaming remotes were swinging around her wrists, via the wristband. she also had a few extra video game cds in hand.

she placed them nicely in the duffel bag and went to help ollie with collecting the things for the switches and games.

when the two were finished, coming back out with three duffel bags, they went to y/n's car and put them in the back. they both had their own duffel bag with their own personal necessities.

the pair of cousins went back inside to check if they forgot anything and to pick up a few snacks for them just because they wanted to eat on the way back.

with their last check, they were about to leave the house when the person they wanted to see the least suddenly showed up.

"y/n. tianyue. where have you two been?" she asked, crossing her arms as she blocked the doorway.

y/n turned to ollie, the big bag of snacks in her hand swinging back and forth. her face showed shock as neither of them expected her to come home.

"uh. hi aunty. aren't you supposed to be at work?" ollie asked quietly, turning to y/n with a look of shock and surprise on his face as well.

"I own the company, I don't have to show up if I don't want to." the older woman responded. "now, where the hell were you two." she demanded.

they gave each other a look before y/n shrugged. "we were just out." she finally responded, keeping her answer vague and short. she didn't want her to know that they've been staying at ricky's house for the past few days and she just didn't want to talk to her in general.

"yeah, of course you two were out. come on. you're coming with me to the yoo's house." she instructed, grabbing both of their wrists and leading them to the driveway.
