y/n was at a cafe to meet her best friend, wumuti. both have been busy with personal matters so they couldn't hang out as much. today, they've cleared their schedules just to hang out.

she was sat at one of the two people tables, scrolling through random apps on her phone as she waited for her friend to arrive.

not long after, wumuti appeared on the seat in front of her. "hi n/n!" he smiled.

y/n jumped in her seat, surprised at the sudden voice.

"oh my god, you scared me wumuti." y/n sighed, standing up and going over to his side to hug him. said male basically engulfed her in his big hug, the two swinging side to side in spot.

"I missed you so much, ugh! texting and calling you is so much different compared talking to you face to face." y/n frowned, pulling away from the hug. "I missed your short ass." she added.

wumuti sent a harsh flick to her forehead before he shooed her back to her seat.

"girl, I'm literally an inch shorter than you." he deadpans, rolling his eyes after.

"an inch can count for a lot, bestie. now, what took you so long? I've been waiting here since 11 because that's the time we were supposed to meet." y/n changed the topic, raising an eyebrow at him.

"I knew that you were gonna ask me this so I prepared an excuse already," he started, making y/n gasp. "I'm kidding by the way, I'm not actually going to give you a lie. I got caught up with a foreign friend of mine. sorry, bae." he explained.

"wait do I know this friend?" she asked back, curious.

"no, I don't think you know or have heard of him but ricky might've. his name is yutaka." wumuti replied, nodding to himself.

"ohh okayyy! he probably knows him from that performing thing that he did. anyways, how was america? you said you went with a bunch of friends last time." y/n asked, eager to catch up with her best friend.

"oh my god, it was so chaotic. the thing is, ricky knows these friends too and we like, got lost so much because only a few of us could speak english properly." he sighed.

"dude, ricky knows everyone. like, we could be walking on the street, and suddenly, some random person just calls out for him on the street and they like, do some sort of handshake thing and leave." y/n sighed as well, pursing her lips.

"right? anyways, yeah it was pretty chaotic not going to lie. I know you don't want to talk about you know who at all today, so, hows the tattoo? did you get a new one like you said yet?" wumuti rambled.

"aww, you know me so well," she frowned, placing her hands over her heart. "and it's going really well, it healed nicely. I don't think I'm going to get the next one soon, to be honest. I want to, but I don't know if it's a good idea to get another one so quickly, you know?" y/n replied, rambling back.

her and ricky got tiny matching tattoos a few weeks ago. they got matching cat tattoos, ricky getting a black cat and y/n getting a white cat. it was ricky's idea.

"that's great, aw." her best friend smiled, his smile reaching his eyes. "I also totally understand the second tattoo part. when my friend got his first tattoo, he almost went back immediately to get a second one, but I made him think it over and he decided to get it after like, a year or something." he added, both of them nodding.

the two spent their entire day together, gossiping and catching up with each other. actually, some people thought they were together but we all know the truth. at least we're pretty sure we know the truth...
