Alhaitham's Dilemma (Kavetham, Haikaveh, Genshinfanfic)

Mother

In this chapter I tried to imagine Kaveh's mother. I took all information from Kaveh's hangout we have about her like her name, her looks, the memory with the blueprint and what we know from Kaveh's character lore and what happened after the father died. But everything else is fiction. I want to see Kaveh happy, too in the end that is why I needed this chapter. I hope you like it! And we are getting closer to the Wedding! Yay!

It is only one month to Kaveh's and Alhaitham's wedding and they are now writing the invitation letters for all people they want to come.

'Ok let's check: Cyno, Tighnari, Collei, Lumine, Paimon, Nahida, Nilou, Farouzan, Layla, Dehya, Candace, Dori, Lambad and his wife, Setaria, Badawi, The Hat Guy...I think that's it', says Kaveh by counting all the letters

'I still don't think we should invite that Hat Guy...He doesn't seem like he would give a damn about two guys marring each other. And we don't know him that much...', says Alhaitham

'Yes...maybe. But Nahida always looks for him and it seems they have something like a Mother – Son relationship. Of course we need to invite him, too. Besides. Nahida is holding our ceremony in case you've forgotten.'

'Alright. I understand', says Alhaitham in agreement he then further asks more quietly and carefully:

'Are you sure you don't want to invite your mother, too? She is still your family and this is a good opportunity for you to renew the contact. She invited you to her wedding, too.'

'No, Alhaitham! Enough! I already told you I will not invite her! You couldn't possibly imagine how much pain it would cause her and me. I need to stay away from that pain. I want it to be our day, Alhaitham. I don't want to suffer or feel guilty on OUR special day.', says Kaveh angry

'But....you still love her!', says Alhaitham insisting

'So what? Do you think this makes everything just...DISAPPEAR? Even if I would invite her. Even if. My letter would renew her old wounds from the time she wanted to forget. I am a burden for her! A BURDEN! I don't want her to feel this way exactly BECAUSE I love her. You understand? And don't you DARE to invite her behind my back! If you will, I will divorce you on the same day I will marry you!!!', says Kaveh furious while showing at Alhaitham with his finger

'Alright. I understand. I will not do it.', says Alhaitham calmly by holding his both hands up in the air to signalize defeat.

'Good. Now just help me with this thing here. You need to again put the jacket on as I screwed up some of the stitches.', says Kaveh rushed but already calmed down
Alhaitham puts on the jacket of the wedding suits Kaveh is specially sewing for him.

'I still don't understand why you just don't leave the work to a professional. Your designs are already enough to make the suit special. A professional could just finish it exactly how you want when you show him your sketches', says Alhaitham concerned

'Because I want it that way, ok? Just leave me doing this. I just want it to be perfect', says Kaveh annoyed

'But I don't want it if you have to put that much work into it. You already designed and worked on our house the last two years. You must be exhausted! Even you did it not fulltime but half time. Because you insisted so much of paying your debt on your own. I shouldn't have let you doing this all by yourself. I am sorry, Kaveh...I knew this was a bad idea but you somehow managed to convince me in the end', says Alhaitham concerned 'Why....don't you slow down a bit...hmmm...my golden sun?', he adds while stroking Kaveh's face
