❗SPOILERS❗
[THIRD PERSON OMNISCIENT / BIT OF FIRST PERSON POV]Bloodmoon's Death was when it all started.
When I had gone down a dark path and ruined my life.
...
Bloodmoon entered the daycare, their nano machines allowing them to transform into Moon.
They had gone to the daycare to stir up some trouble and have some fun. The two twins giggled quietly to each other as they stepped in.
Sun, meanwhile, was trying to find the paint buckets and was muttering to themself, frustration and anger building up in their mind.
"Am I blind?" Sun scowled. They were on edge today. Losing the paint buckets was really getting to them.
Then the realization hit, which only made Sun more frustrated with themself.
"I left the paint buckets in the storage closet. I only brought the paint brush—"
Suddenly, a sound caught them off guard. Footsteps?
Oh. It was just Moon.
Sun noticed them and tried to give them a friendly wave, which ended up being more passive-aggressive than friendly. Their expression was grim and they appeared to be frustrated.
"Hey Sun." Moon said, their voice as blunt and emotionless as ever.
"Hey—have you seen a paint bucket?" Sun asked, gritting their teeth. They didn't want to unleash their anger onto their brother, but goodness was it hard.
"Why?" Moon asked, their expression was filled with curiosity (and a bit of mockery).
"Because I'm doing the barrels?"
That came out a little snappy for Sun. They seemed annoyed that Moon had missed such a clear detail. The barrels were on the counter. And along with that, they were extremely annoyed at losing the paint bucket.
"Why would it only need one bucket?" Moon asked, their genuine confusion almost infuriating.
"Because.." Sun took a deep breath, attempting to calm down, "It is. I don't know why it's just one bucket, it just is!"
The last part came out a little more rude than they intended, and they took a few more deep breaths.
"Look, I'm sorry. I just haven't been in the greatest mindset since I lost the bucket."
Sun spoke in a calmer tone, though it still had the clear hint of annoyance and frustration.
Then, Moon just had to make it worse.
"Well you're quite snappy, aren't you?"
Moon laughed a bit, causing Sun to heat up a little from frustration and embarrassment.
"I just explained why- You know what, nevermind. Can you just try to help me and get the paint buckets? They should be in the storage closet." Sun said, giving a curt smile.
"Hm.. No."
Sun clenched their fists. Couldn't Moon help around just this one time?
"Of course, Moon. You know what? I'll just go and get the paint buckets myself. Thanks for the help." Sun said sarcastically as they walked off.
And then it was just Moon.
No, not Moon.
Bloodmoon.
They spoke to each other, giggling and commenting on Sun's strange attitude.
"Perhaps we should dirty up those barrels!" One spoke.
