[MOON , FIRST PERSON]
I blink my eyes opening, slowly adjusting to the darker lighting. I feel the ground below me. I wasn't in the ruins of my former bunker anymore.
"Hey, Moon, you awake?" A gruff voice splits the air and I glance around, catching the sight of an obnoxiously verdant green tail flicking back and forth.
"Monty?" I guess, groaning as I try and get to my feet, yet still feeling my legs weak with shock and grief, "Ugh, my legs feel like jello."
"Yeah, you were dead asleep on the ground, and you wouldn't wake up, so your computer thing alerted me and I came to retrieve you." Monty crosses their arms as they stare down at you, "Computer thing filled me in. It was kind of weird, not gonna lie, being lectured by a computer."
"Why were you lectured? Did you smash its systems again?" I snort, still on the ground as I shuffle my feet to try and prepare myself to get up.
"Something of it, maybe stole- I mean borrowed a little cash for your safe return." They grin.
"Of course you did." I grumble, before unsteadily returning to my feet, wobbling for a moment as Monty comes over to steady me before they step back.
"So, Sun killed Eclipse, correct? And isn't stopping there." They slightly adjust one of their hands to fall by their side, gaze fixing into mine as they study me carefully.
"Jeez, you could have some remorse, but yes, Sun killed Eclipse and said he would kill anyone else who would hurt me or Lunar, or- anyone, I guess." I shrug, hiding the guilt and fear I felt building up inside my throat.
"Alright, you put a tracker in him when he was sleeping, right?" They ask, "When you first separated, I mean."
"Yeah, I could track him," I sigh, "I'm just going to work on that."
Monty pauses, "Not going to even acknowledge how you feel about any of this?" They question, raising a brow.
"I can after. There's just too much going on right now. With Killcode, and Sun, and everything at the moment." I state firmly.
"Alright, just make sure to take a break at some point." Monty shrugs, "Don't want to get yourself burnt out."
"I can't promise anything. Now I have to go." I say, before walking away, past the various golf holes.
I pause, extremely confused about my surroundings still, "Uh," I call out, "Where's the exit again?"
"Just take three lefts, a right, and head up. You should see an exit there." Monty calls back.
"Alright.. three lefts, a right, and head up.." I mutter, following their directions before finally reaching the exit, "Thanks, Monty!" I call, before pushing through the door as it lifts as I draw close to it.
I feel my sensors readjust and my direction become clear as I recognize the bright flashing lights of the Pizzaplex and the transparent holograms of the Glamrocks. I wondered how it felt to be up there. Probably weird, seeing yourself in a light only meant for showtime.
I recall what I have to do. Check the tracker in Sun's head, which although seemed like a bad thing to even say, it was necessary for his own safety, and then try and find him. But then what?
Talk sense into him? It's not like he was exactly the most sane at the moment. Not at the box, or at the now ruined bunker.
But it was Sun, I could easily find him. After all, he didn't have the most experience or natural aptitude for technology, so it wasn't like security systems would be set up or anything else out of the ordinary would occur. I would just need to pinpoint him and figure out a way to get him back.
This, however, was easier said than done. I had already told him the most logical things I could think of. I guess I could guilt-trip him with the whole "Im your brother" statement, but with his state, I didn't know if that would work.
I grit my teeth, clamping my metallic fists together, feeling a small dent crease into my hand as I mutter under my breath.
Deal with the words later, find Sun now.
