⚠️ Character Death . Mild Death Descriptions ⚠️
[MOON , FIRST PERSON]
Goddammit, goddammit.. I input the coordinates into the teleporter, scrambling to type in the numbers, hyper-focusing on every single digit I typed in.
As I finally manage to input the coordinates in, I hit the button hurriedly as I begin to pace.
A few moments, nothing.
"Computer.. You told me this would -"
Suddenly, the world turns white in a flash, and I shut my eyes instinctively as I transport to the bunker.
"Urgh.." I groan, ears ringing and eyes groggy as I slowly peer them open again after a few moments, now standing at the entrance of the bunker as I try to adjust to my surroundings.
"Has it worked, Moon?" The computer questions smugly, and I roll my eyes in exasperation.
"Yes it worked, computer. I'm sorry for doubting you." I grumble.
"Apology accepted."
With a sigh, I scoot into the vent easily. I remembered the maze quite well. Despite not being able to remember many of my older projects, this one I happened to remember, which in a sense, I supposed was a good thing.
I crawl through the vent maze, tracing through my mind before finding the proper vent to exit and hopping out. I heard speaking in the distance, but I needed to hear it to make sure that I wasn't hearing things, not hearing them.
"Computer, how many live entities are present?" I ask, awaiting their answer so I could discover how to proceed through with the matter.
"3 living entities detected."
That was a good sign. I give a sigh of relief, before beginning to make my way to the source of the noise. Whoever had been here had walked far, obviously, because it was a long way down, and the damn sound was barely getting any louder.———
[ECLIPSE , FIRST PERSON]
What the hell? I didn't think he'd actually do it, nor that quickly. What was wrong with with him?
"I can .. Help you." I say hesitantly, mimicking Solar Flare's voice as I ensure my defenses are in perfect order. I didn't know if I'd need them at the moment. Sun was acting abnormally different, and I needed to be prepared incase. I didn't doubt even if it came to fight, I would win, but I wanted to make sure everything I needed to defeat him was ready.
Sun stares at me suspiciously for a moment before narrowing his eyes, "You chose wrong."
In an instant, he snatches one of my crimson swords from one of my desks, raises it, and brings it down. The only reason I blocked the hit being due to my automated defenses, which caught his arm just in time.
"Fine, Sun. You want me to stop being nice? I'll stop being nice." I say, my raspy voice ringing over to Sun, as he pauses in shock for a moment, which I use to my advantage, kicking him over onto the ground in front of me.
"Y-You're-" He stutters.
"I'm alive, yes, I'm alive. And I'm going to kill you, right here."———
[SUN , FIRST PERSON]
The dreadful words ring through my head, suddenly feeling helpless. The sword having been laid out on the floor next to me. I reach to pick it up, but Eclipse brushes it aside with his foot, a victorious smirk plastered on his face.
"Oh, imagine how your brother will react when he sees your oil scattered across his floors, seeing the empty look in your eyes as he holds you pathetically in his arms, babbling and sobbing like a little baby," He chuckles, "Oh what a sight it will be."
Eclipse leans down to pick up the sword I had dropped, gripping it tightly in his hands, slowly inching towards me as I tremble.
Was this really it? Was I just going to die right here?
I am off put by a wave of nausea cross me as I crawl back. I feel my core becoming uncomfortably warm, spreading slowly outwards to the rest of my joints,
It was like I could sense every vibration in the ground- everything was so loud.
What was happening?
I needed to get up. I couldn't die here. I said I wouldn't die until that bastard was beyond the grave.
Suddenly, a rush of adrenaline zips through my body, and I see light flash before my eyes, feeling the energy pound through me as everything is white for a moment, before it clears.
I hear myself coughing as I see dust clear, and in front of me...
Eclipse?!———
[MOON , FIRST PERSON]
I gasp, coughing as I scoot myself out from rubble that almost collapsed on me, my metal scraped and my body covered in dust as I stumble up, dazed.
What happened? There was a strong magic signature, I knew that. That magic coursing through the bunker, I could sense it.
My first worry, naturally, was Sun, and I began to call out his name, every step through the rubble making me more nauseous, worrying I'll find something I wouldn't want to find,
"Sun!" I call out, stepping through the crater.
Suddenly, I see the familiar golden rays, though now dulled due to the dust coating them. I rush towards the figure, calling out in relief, "Sun!" I cry.
As I make my way closer, I notice a large pool of oil, and my breath hitches. Was he hurt? Why wasn't he answering?
I could hear him mumbling to himself when I finally see the sight leaving Sun so immobile. Eclipse, the only arm remaining of his body, anyway, buried under a large piece of rock, wires strewn across it like holiday lights.
"Sun-?" I ask softly, worried for his silence, for how he was taking the death. Was he traumatized for seeing how Eclipse died, "Sun, are you okay?"
As I creep closer, I can hear his mutters more clearly now.
"I did it." He muttered, "I finally did it.."
"I didn't think killing would feel so good."
My eyes widen as I stiffen in shock, before desperately rushing to Sun's side, "Hey, hey, are you alright?"
Sun laughs, "I'm fine, I'm more than fine! I feel great! I finally did it. Don't you see Moon?"
I begin to relax, seeing Sun feels alright, and that maybe things would be alright, but Sun doesn't finish there.
"I can make sure nobody else hurts us again. With this magic- I can protect everyone." He stands up, eyes wide as he stares at Eclipse's arm, the gears beginning to twist in his head.
"Sun-" I begin.
"I'll be able to fix everything." He stares at me, sending a shiver down my spine. I rush forwards quickly to answer in a frantic retort.
"Sun, I need you to calm down and look at me. You aren't sounding right. Listen to yourself. You just killed someone! You can't do that again-" I sputter out, frantic for Sun to listen to reason. I didn't want him to turn out like me, a sadistic killer. He had to realize this wasn't right- this wasn't-
"But I'll be able to fix all the pain. All the suffering. It worked with Eclipse, it can work with Killcode, Creator, with anyone who dares mess with us." He blinks.
His words were unrecognizable, I could barely process how they were spewing out of his mouth. Was he crazy?
"Sun, you can't be seriously considering that- Without our morals, we might as well be just as bad as them! You have to snap out of it." I snap, a desperate glint in my eyes.
"And what can you do to stop me? I can do whatever- whatever I want." Sun pauses before gasping with joy, "You- You can't stop me!"
He turns towards me, eyes brighter than I've ever seen them before. Almost maniacally bright. I step back, a shiver running down my spine. This wasn't my brother.
"Try all you want, you can try, but I'm free now. And you can't do anything about it. I'll kill whoever I want, brother." He chirps, "And don't try and get in my way, trust me Moon, I love you, but I will kill you myself. This is for the better, okay?"
Without waiting for another word, Sun suddenly disappears as if never there at all, leaving me shaken as I stare in shock where Sun used to stand.
Surely this was all a terrible dream.
My Sun wouldn't hurt anyone, wouldn't lie to me, wouldn't find so much joy in hurting. He wouldn't have threatened to hurt me, right? So let me wake up, let this all be a dream, just-
My breathing begins to grow heavier and I collapse onto the ground,
This was all a dream, right? Right?[WORD COUNT: 1460]
