AUTHOR's NOTE: Hi. Yes, I've disappeared for awhile. Lost all motivation for this and life has been a little rough lately, so don't mind that.
My motivation has returned!

[FIRST PERSON POV, SUN'S POV]

Now, where had it began?
Ah, right, there.

I came across the bunker. It was the bunker in which we had to hide in when the government was looking for us..

When Eclipse still inhabited my mindscape.

When Moon laid a hand on me.

This bunker certainly wasn't a place of good memories for me. I could only recall terrible memories, not that any good memories were created there anyway.

I sighed deeply and entered the bunker. It was unlikely that Killcode's base was here, but it was still a possibility, so I would search anyway.

I began to scan through boxes and cracks in order to find any hidden contraptions, when I heard footsteps behind me.

It couldn't be... Was it..?

"Sun, please stop."

Moon's voice rang in my ears.

My grip tightened on the crate, causing it to become dented. I was really not in the mood for this right now.

"Didn't you say you wouldn't stop me?" I asked, my voice curt.

"Well, I'm not really known for keeping my promises, am I?" Moon spoke, in a sarcastic tone.

It just annoyed me.

"Is it really you? Or just a hologram again?" I questioned, becoming gradually more frustrated.

"It's actually me this time. I just want to talk." Moon said, in a more serious tone.

"Well you aren't going to. You said you wouldn't stop me, so stop following me around everywhere." I folded my arms.

"Look, Sun, you don't know how to kill Eclipse. You have no plans, you're going to get yourself killed, and I don't want to lose you." Moon said.

"You think I do? What makes you so special, huh?" I scoffed, "Now let me go."

I began to walk past Moon, but they stopped me.

"What are you doing? Get out of my way, Moon." I clenched my hands into fists.

"I'm sorry, Sun. I didn't want to do this, but you leave me no choice.." Moon spoke solemnly.

They began to mutter something under their breath.

"Hey- What are you doing?"

There was no response. Once they had finished what they were doing, they stepped back.

"I'm sorry, Sun. You aren't in the right head space. You need some time here, to reflect."

I scoffed, what were they going on about? I could just go past them-

I couldn't move.

Did Moon use magic on me?

My pent up anger that had built up was released in that moment, I felt the betrayal, the pain, everything.

"Moon?"

...

"What. Did. You. Do."

[FIRST PERSON POV, MOON'S POV]

I had never seen that look on Sun's face before, the betrayed look on their face, and the pure rage omitting from them.

"You're going to stay here, and you aren't going to leave until you are in a better mindset." I said sternly, trying hard not to show my guilt in front of Sun.

"..Screw you." Sun said, their tone as cold as a glacier. There held no more remorse, no more sadness in their eyes. Just pure anger.

I winced at those words. Surely Sun would understand, when they got better. This was the only way.

As I saw their eyes darkening, though, I felt my heart drop. However, I retained my composure.

I sighed, and returned a harsh look towards Sun.

"You're not in a stable mindset. This is the only way."

Sun looked at me in bewilderment, as if I was the one doing something wrong here.

"And your solution is trapping me here?"

They asked, their voice filled with pent-up anger, their eyes flashing as their gaze chilled me to the bone.

"You'll understand when you're better. You always do."

I said sternly, as if scolding a small child.

Sun gaped at me with their mouth opened wide, their jaw slack as if I was crazy. I tried my best to ignore it. It was for the best. Everything I was doing was for Sun, whether they believed it or not.

I heard Sun mutter something under their breath, and I was curious enough to question what they said.

"What was that?"

I narrowed my eyes, folding my arms across each other as I fixed Sun with an intense stare.

"I hate you."

Sun spoke, louder this time.

I felt my breath get caught, as if I had suddenly plunged into deep water. If my gaze showed how hurt I was, Sun didn't seem to react or care.

"F-Fine then. Spend the rest of your days rotting alone."

I scowled, stomping off into the distance, not looking back to see Sun's expression. If they were going to be like this, then I'd let them cool off.

For a moment, I felt pity. I shouldn't have said that last part. I would come back for them. We just needed some time away from each other, and they needed some time as well.

I shook it off. If they were going to be so rude to their own brother, they could rot.

Still, though, that lingering doubt crept inside my mind, threatening to swallow me whole as the bunker fading into the forested environment as my feet carried me away.

Who knew where, but wherever it was, I was ready.
